Great Prices Fast Service 9/1/2015

I moved here from Texas and was looking for an auto repair shop with a good reputation, something not easy to find nowadays. When I mentioned this to someone at a local breakfast place they said try LaBella’s Auto Repair they been around for over 3 decades and do good work at reasonable prices. So I called them for an estimate on a water pump for my Honda Accord and the price was reasonable so I brought it to them and they had it fixed in one day. I did need a timing belt also because of the mileage on the car they explained. I was happy with the service and the prices. more

I had an engine put in my car by LaBella’s after careful researching the other companies in the area for an estimate. Some of the companies that did similar work had changed their name because of bad reviews. On LaBella’s website under consumer information he outlines how to check a company’s rating and what to look for when making a choice for auto repair. I found this information very informative. I brought my car to him and he outlined in detail what the procedure will be and what to expect along the repair process. I have been very satisfied with the engine replacement and have not had to go back for any problems with his work. more

IT'S FIXED RIGHT THE FIRST TIME:\r I just moved here from Kansas and went to 2 other shops to have work done on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee for overheating. They changed the water pump and thermostat and radiator fan but my vehicle stilled overheated. I looked on the internet to find another shop that might help fix my issue and came across LaBella’s. When I called him and explained what was already done, he said we need to run a block test because you may have blown the head gasket. I brought it in and after the test it was confirmed my head gasket was damaged. They did the work though the job was expensive my vehicle is now fixed. When someone asks me who I would recommend for auto repairs, I tell them this story. more

I drive a 2007 Chevy truck 1500 series and had taken it to several local shops to get the engine check light fixed. Each place did work on it but the light kept coming back on. I was about to give up getting it fixed when a friend said take it to Labella’s. He assured me that they were honest and were around for over 35 years in Kenner. So I did. I been driving it now for one month and the light has not come back on. I was so happy that I now recommend them to all my friends. more

Very rude and unprofessional 11/7/2011

I honestly wish I would have read the comment on this site before I brought the wife's car to this place. Upsell galore and I believe this place actually made the car worst than when it was originally brought in. Two caps under the hood were left off, vehicle never over heated when brought in and then started overheating after I picked it up. Warranty was a joke cause they didn't cover anything. The owner was extremely rude, unprofessional, and not helpful at all. After a long argument over the phone, a lot of money, and a brokevehicle, I decided to pick up the car and bring it to another mechanic. I will never use nor recommend this place to anyone. more

Use Caution !!! 6/30/2011

Whether or not he is a good mechanic, I cannot say. But, I can say is his ....... GET THE CAR IN THE SHOP AND ESTABLISH A COST SO THE CUSTOMER IS COMMITTED AND THEN UP SELL THEM........ style of doing business, is more of a systematic salesman, than a mechanic. Be very careful with this guy. Before you do anything ask to read his contract. ASK FOR BOTH the diagnosis agreement and agreement to proceed. Called to ask what he would charge to install a fuel pump on my daughter more

I bring all of the import cars that I own to Labella's auto repair for all minor and major problems. Labella's also offers fuel saving kits which include minor repairs that can be done to your car or truck to save up to fifteen percent more gas, and with todays economy who can afford not to have that done! So next time your in Kenner and need any kind of automotive work stop by Labella's. more

BEST CAR SERVICE POSSIBLY IN THE WHOLE OF LOUISIANA 2/3/2009

I had an old Datsun that no one wanted to work on becasue it was too old. I called LaBella's and told him what my problem was and he said that he should be able to fix the problem. The problem I had was on a Datsun B210 with a newly rebuilt carb on it and it was still hesitsting on take off. I brought it in and he called me in less than a half day and said the problem was fixed. I picked it up and thought that I would probably still have the same problem but to my surprise it was running better than it had ever ran before. I tell all of my family and friends to go to labella's if they want it fixed reight the first time. Pros: best service and work Cons: cannot really say anything negative more
