Highly recommend 8/26/2008

I started going to Luna about 10 months ago and I've had a great experience there. I get a color, cut, with Marina, and she is excellent. The first time I went she really listened to what I wanted and mixed up a gorgeous color for me. Marina is a perfectionist with her hair cuts. I have very thick, wavy hair, and the cuts she gives always seem to lighten it up and make it more manageable. I highly recommend her. more

I never get a haircut or color--never--that a total stranger doesn't comment on within two weeks. I can't tell you how many women have stopped me to ask who does my hair. more

I first gave this salon a whirl because they priced fairly (unlike many of the salons I've seen in the area). I recommend Oksana, who has has been consistently great. more

I go here religiously for my monthly eyebrow and lip waxes. Once I discovered this place I realized what I was missing elsewhere. I refuse to go anywhere else. They're fantastic. I swear the way they shape my eyebrows makes me feel a million times more attractive. more

I stopped a stranger walking down the street to ask "who does your hair"? She said LUNA. I call there and booked a hair cut w/ Marina. That Monday i returned to work, i had girls from almost every department coming over to see what a REAL professional hair cut looks like !!!!! . It was simply beautiful !!! Can't wait to go back there !!!!! Thank you Marina! more

This place is totally fine. This is the place to go if you want a simple cut. If you're concerned you won't get what you want, either don't go here -- or just pay attention to what the stylist is doing. more

I have been coming to this location for months, formerly Great Cuts, but with most of the same staff. Now you wonder why i gave this place 5 stars. There is one stylist who is INCREDIBLE. I have curly hair which can be hard to cut, and it always comes out PERFECTLY. I would pay literally three times as much for the cut i receive, thankfully, I don't have to. I would tell you the name of the stylist, but I'll be honest, I don't want them cheating on me with new customers! more

I had my hair blow-dried here last months for a wedding. My hair as never looked so good. My hair was soft, curled a bit at the bottom and stayed beautiful all the way. I wish I could find a way to justify going and getting it done more often... more

I came heer because of my growing dissatisfaction over the threading situation at the other salon. The lady here, Irina, is fabulous. She did a great job, was very through, checked to make sure I was doing OK, and even gave me a mini facial massage at the very end. unbelievable!! a more

I have only had a manicure here. They had a wide selection of colors. Olga who did my nails did a really good job. The place was clean and it seemed like the other clients were happy and getting good service. She also massaged by hands. My nails looked great. I would go back. more

have been coming here for several years and Maureen is my favorite. I have curly hair and she actually knows how to cut it. (Other places I've tried seemed clueless if one's hair was not stick straight.)The prices are reasonable and I can usually get an appointment at the last minute when I have a frizzy hair panic. I could do without their choice of music but other than that it is a good neighborhood salon. more

the. best. wax. ever. who knew one could actually have a delightful conversation while having hairs ripped from their follicles in one's nether regions? and feel completely at ease in disposable, hair-net-esque "underwear" with someone met 5 minutes ago? or that 2 full legs and a line could be done (hairless, i tell you!) in under 30 minutes? really professional. really efficient. really personable. really really no hair left. more

It is one of the more relaxing salons 8/18/2008

I think the front desk is extremely professional, I have never experienced a problem with booking appointments like some other salons out there. They always call to confirm with me, a day ahead. It is one of the more relaxing salons down there, no loud music or thousands of people running around. more
