great place 10/16/2007

Luna salon is an answer to my prayers. It's so refreshing to have found a salon that is both professional and provides a relaxing experience at the same time. I am always extremely satisfied with my hair cuts and color. The stylist really knows their stuff. I recommend having the stylist suggest what would look best for you and then letting go of your same old style and see how amazing the result can be. I highly recommend Luna salon! more

Salon Luna I love You 10/16/2007

I am new to the area and I found Salon Luna online, I knew the minute I walked in that I had found the " Best Salon around." The staff was so friendly and the service was wonderful. The overall atmosphere was busy, fun, and upbeat. I loved the time I spent there and I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend this salon to anyone! I love my hair !! Best service! 10/11/2007

At my age (33) I've had a lot of different hairstyles and stylists - some good, some not so good. I went to Luna salon for the first time recently after reading all of the rave reviews on Citysearch. I'm always a bit skeptical of super positive reviews, but these reviews are absolutely genuine. I have never in my life gotten such an amazing haircut! The cut I wanted was kind of complicated, but my stylist knew exactly what to do and the precision of the cut is incredible. Every strand just falls into place after washing. I am thrilled with the results! Not only do these stylist know what they are doing, but the salon has a friendly and funky vibe to it that makes the whole experience 5 stars more

Oksana was the haircolorist and she also did my haircut!!! My hair never looked so beautifull in life! Thank God, now I found my match :) She is an artist!!! Not a hairdresser! Never in my life I felt so confident and got so many compliment from people. I really felt like a superstar! Professional athmosphere, friendly people! The best service!!! Luna Salon is the best salon/spa in Brooklyn. You get great service and the staff is amazing . My favorite and most recommended stylist is Olga. She makes me feel beautiful everytime I get my hair done whether its a highlights or cut and style. She gives the best advice and recommends the latest and most unique styles and cuts that will work best for you. . Outstanding 8/12/2007

Gala is a Facial guru! I know her for years and follow her to every place she works for. Her hands are tender, she has an open heart. On top of everything she gives valuable advise every time I see her. All her products are top of the line. She is the best beautician I have ever gone to. My skin got better by 100% and I look much younger now (thanks to Gala). She really cares about her clients. one more time I'd like to say 'Thank you, Gala for your outstanding service. I'd like to recommend this salon to everybody, who's looking for homey place. more

This is a great plase for haircolor.My hair has never looked this good. It looks so healthy and feels so soft. I love my hair. You also get the best shampoo,manicures and pedicures here.The products they use are top quality.I cant's say enough, just go there and try it. I have now found a new stalist Sergei and salon. more

NEVER AGAIN 6/21/2007

i don't know why i even bothered to bring in a picture. my hair color was nothing like the picture and the cut was so bad i had to go to another salon to get it fixed. when my hair was processing, my stylist left me sitting in a chair for at least 40 minutes; never coming by to check on me. after the coloring she began cutting, and that was the real nightmare. for $175 one would think you would have friendly service and hair you could live with; not in this case. never again. more

Olga is not just a great colorist, but has amazing energy, a positive attitude and takes time to know you along with you hair, along with your likes and dislikes...I det compliments everyday on my color, texture, stylle. Very nice salon! I never had highlites and was scared to make new changes. After I checked reviews on this site I went there for consultation. People were nice and friendly. Salon is very clean and cozy. I decided to follow their advise and made an appointment. Olga did my highlites. I look very fresh and natural. I received my 15% off as a first time client and will definately come back. more

Find a *real* salon 6/6/2007

Based on the reviews I made an appointment for a trim, color and hilights. Before my appointment I again called the salon and spoke directly to the person who would be coloring my hair to confirm the time, procedures, etc. On arriving, my first cue should've been a woman who walked out of the shop with a most horrendous coif; however, I dismissed my concerns and walked inside. After asking what I wanted done, he informed me that a trim was all he had time to do as another client was booked after me. I was totally stunned by their incompetence and moreso by their nonchalant attitude. I was traveling abroad the next day to attend a wedding and had no time to make another appointment - elsewhere. To put it succinctly, this was by far the absolutely worse haircut I have ever gotten. I'm bewildered by the 5-star rating(???). Pros: NONE Cons: HIGHLY INEPT STAFF more

Amazin Highlights,Color and Haircut!!!!!! 6/5/2007

Olga give me a very good consultation and then did it. I left with warm brown hair from roots to tips and some very pretty highlights.She'll do a wondeful job. Olga did terrific, ultra-natural color. Very relaxed, good experience with friendly staff. I will definitely go back and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS SALON. Pros: Great colr and cut more

I tried 'LUNA SALON' after having read the reviws on city search and I am very Happy with the results....The service is great. Olga did a wondeful job...She give me gorgeus hilights and the perfect cut. Evryone was so sweet and the salon was very balanced, comfortable. I Highly recommended this salon and OLGA. Olga is the best stylist in this salon.She turned my dryed out blech blonde into a beautiful golden blonde and it's never looked healther and mor natural. She's a true profeshionalist.I paid 300$, bout she spent 3 hours reparing my hair and did amazing job.I would recomend her to everybody!!!!!!! more

I have been so some of the most expensive and OVERRATED salons in Brooklyn....And let me be the first to say Serge is the BEST!!! No one has been eable to cut my hair and color it to my exact liking. Not only is Serge soooo talented, but he is so approchable and SO MUCH FUN!!!! I cannot recommend another stylist/colorist more than Serge!!!!!!!!!!! more
