Longhorn Steakhouse is located in the middle of a bunch of other food establishments on Trooper Road. I went here because I have never been to one before. I would relate it to a Texas Road House, though the bread is a bit better.
I went in for lunch with my family and we got seated right away. Too bad our waitress didn't make it over for about five minutes after that to take our drink order. Our waitress was also the bartender and we were definitely not her top priority seeing as we only spoke to her about three times throughout the meal (once to order drinks, once to order food, and once for the check). The food wasn't bad and was affordable with their new lunch combinations. The prime rib sandwich was a little dry and definitely needed the horseradish sauce that was on the side. The chilli was a little too sweet for my taste, but was at least hot when I got it. The portions were not that big, but it could have been because we ordered from the lunch special menu. I didn't get to try dessert but will definitely try the fried cheesecake bites if decide the main meal is worth it again.
