My family and I went to dinner on a Saturday night at Longhorn. The place was packed! Wait time was 40 minutes which was accurate to the time they quoted it would be when I gave my name in. Food was okay, but nothing really special. The salad I had gotten was wilted and brown around the edges. I do have to say that the steak was very good and my husband had the ribs which he said he preferred over Outback. This was our first time at the restaurant and I'd be willing to try it during a less busy time. more

Editorial
  • In Short
One of the country's most successful steakhouse empires attracts a casual crowd with huge, reasonably priced steak dinners and a tempered Texan milieu (country music and imposing cattle busts). Wise diners turn off their internal calorie counters, as many menu items arrive fried, covered in cheese, or both. A typically rich meal starts with cheese fries, followed by a blue cheese-crusted fillet. Fried cheesecake ends the night on a note of Texas-sized decadence.
