The men who came to load our family's belongings were top-notch. This move came up unexpectedly and family members rallied to help as best we could. We packed ourselves to save some money and the crew who loaded us was helpful in telling us what was working and what was not! With their guidance, we repacked a few things and let a few that would not travel well go to charity. The men were prompt, professional and worked well as a team.. Overall the move was great. They gave me a competitive binding quote and did not charge me a penny more. Very professional except for one Packer. Discovered one packer riffled a personal article with $800 cash in it. Issue was not resolved as it was cash and impossible to prove. They would have received 5 stars had it not been for this one issue more

This was our best moves in regard to the value Lanigan provided. I think that means a bundle as we have over the course of our career moved 13 times , including moves to Europe They were able to juggle the schedule repeatedly as a consequence of our builders problems on completing the new home. We greatly appreciated the flexibility and cooperation of your sales staff in regard to these complications. The driver and his crew were absolutely fantastic. They were professional and helpful as well as extremely competent. It was also great to see the longevity of the driver and his number one packer and loader in their jobs and the extremely positive attitude of all the guys. I was even more excited to see the driver had selected a few young men who were working their way through advanced education and excited about their future. Linage was a great move in that we also had not one piece of damage from a move that last a month and went half way across the country. Special thanks to your driver and his special care and a fantastic attitude and the leadership he provided the crew. more

In all of our years moving with the military, this move has been the best one yet. Our house hold items arrived in a timely manner with very little damage. We were able to fix those pieces ourselves. The packing was great. more

Friendly and efficient. We moved cross country after 25 years in same home. Packing was done quickly and carefully and we had absolutely no breakage. Van was on time and the loading and unloading went without a hitch. Our daughter is moving this month and she will be using them too. more

Our move was packed, moved and unloaded exactly when we were told it would be. The crews at both ends were courteous and very hard-working. We did have three small art pieces broken, one at the old house during packing, but all china, crystal, even lightbulbs, arrived in good condition. I would recommend Lanigan to all my friends in Memphis. more

Outstanding personalized service. Had to move my elderly parents to a different state where I live. The Lanigan rep who came out to the house did an excellent job of reassuring them and showing them exactly how the move would take place. The rep was in constant communication with me and made many recommendations that were very helpful. The big moving day was well organized- my parents hopped in the car with their overnight bags and Lanigan did the rest. Paying for the professional packing service was definitely worth the cost. No hassle and everything arrived in good condition. The two movers were kind and patient with my parents when moving into the new apartment- just really nice guys. The movers were careful to clean up packing supplies and put everything in its place. The cost was exactly as stated in the written estimate. I highly recommend this company. more

First off I'd like to say that Lanigan/ Allied was very professional and very competitive for both a full service move and a partial move. The estimate followed by the second estimate, the access to boxes was second to none. Lannigan was willing to do what it took to make our move as pain-free as possible, and I appreciate the entire team. Well almost the entire team, they did have one individual who was adamant about not working, texting his girlfriend, and not putting forth the effort that the rest of the team was putting into the move during the pack. This individual showed up at the delivery with his uncle, who did not work for Lannigan, and tried to have him help move items into the house. I was able to spot this early on and advise these individuals that this was not okay, as the uncle was not covered by Lanigan insurance. If something had gone wrong during the move and an item was broken, or this individual was hurt I would have had to pay out-of-pocket having this man on my property. I thought this was very shady, but this was a result of not having a an official representative from Lannigan/ Allied on site during the delivery. The rest of the crew were very professional and did an excellent job, and I appreciate their hard work. Overall it was an excellent experience, unfortunately good help is not always easy to find, and I'm sure Lanigan Allied are aware of this individual and have hopefully taken the appropriate actions necessary to prevent another possible customer interaction like this. I highly recommend when again for any moving or relocation. more

Lanigan Movers has helped us over a period of 7 years to move a parent to a retirement home, move children after purchasing their first homes, and has shipped things to our children in their latest moves out of state. We are now looking forward to their assistance moving our daughter's things to England as she finishes setting up her home there with her husband. We know her inherited items and wedding gifts will be in good hands and that everything will be packed perfectly for protection and security. The paperwork will be handled appropriately and clearly. Our previous experiences with Lanigan assure us of a successful move for her. The only concern we had was a set of missing shelves which they found within the hour of its reported absence. They shipped that immediately and it arrived safely. A journey of 1000 miles and nothing was damaged or broken. Their staff is efficient, helpful, and reassuring. I had a great experience .I felt so sorry for the mover,I wish I had his name he was from Memphis which is where I moved from.I don't know what happened.But it was a one man show.He had one guy help him move into my apart but he had no help moving some of my things into storage. So unfair it was a lot of work for one guy also the lift on the truck broke.I hope they are paid well but I doubt it. more
