La Quinta I-40E 4/14/2006

I love road trips, even with young children. It gives them an opportunity to see the country, not just what’s immediately around them. We often choose to drive cross country and spend nights in hotels along the way. This is how we happened to stay at the La Quinta Albuquerque East, right off of I-40. I’m not a “big city” person, so I was a little nervous about staying in a large city. As soon as I entered the lobby of the La Quinta, I realized my fears were unfounded. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location of the hotel was in a peaceful area. I could not hear any traffic from my room. There was a family restaurant essentially in the parking lot, so we ate dinner there. The next time I’m in Albuquerque, I’m staying at this hotel again. more
