LA Boxing Lake Forest

The instructors are not friendly (especially the female ones). The owner is rude and will lie to you about the terms of your membership. The class times are bad. They don't even have matts (the carpet is dirty). The class times are random, and they really do not care about their members. All they care about is taking your money. I joined this gym as a month to month member. They lied to me and automatically signed me up for a year's membership. I was not happy with the classes or instructors (nor the cleanliness of the gym) so I tried to cancel. They told me I needed to pay for the remaining months and charged an outrageous fee. I paid a cancellation fee and then they charged me double on my account. I was told two different stories from two different people. They do not communicate with their employees on their procedures and they just want to take your money. I have had gym memberships before, but this experience was the worst ever. Also, the female instructors are not helpful. They like to tell you what you are doing wrong and yell at you for no reason. I do not recommend this gym to anyone! Please stay away. more

The trainers are great. You feel like a member of a family at the gym. Everyone there is nice. The Jiu Jitsu instructors and Fight Team instructors have taught me so much. This gym is awesome. Pros: Excellent trainers and staff, great energy more

Great facilities and even greater staff. I’ve heard wonderful things about the LA boxing franchise and this one definitely lives up to the hype. It’s clean and inviting and the trainers will push you hard and make sure you're not slacking. However, it’s not just about exercise, they will also help you get down the basic technique as well. I first signed up because I was getting lazy with my workouts at the gym the last few years. The classes at LA boxing are fun and will keep you interested. Albert and Nina really go the extra mile in their classes and they bring energy with them to every session. I highly recommend this place. Thanks guys!!! Pros: You'll get a great workout more

I was able to to loose 3 waist sizes after training with the ladies. I feel great! Would highly recommand to anyone who want want to get/stay in shape. Pros: Fun and effective way of getting in shape! more

Not only is the Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA workout that best workout of ALL time!!!! But THIS LA Boxing is the newest, biggest and baddest one of all!! I have worked out at 6 or 7 in So-Cal and 2 in Henderson/ Las Vegas areas, and Lake Forest beats them all HANDS DOWN!!! It's clean, tasteful, perfect placement for everything and everyone is so nice! The Instructors are fabulous! All the Members and the People involved are such great people, it's like a family!! Everyone is willing to help each other! Not only that, they have a Fight Team Class, Women's Sparring and I think a new Women's Fight Team Class! This is DEFINITELY the real deal Fighting Gym!!! Coupled with the homely mom and pop gym feel. Yet still state of the art equipment and the best people you could find in the fitness world! I love it!!!
