I'm a reasonable guy, but when the tech told me that to have 3 locks rekeyed that it was going to cost me 200 bucks, I wasn't thrilled. But what was my option.. I mean the guy was here, I may as well have him finish the job. He wasn't rude or anything, I just felt like it was a little too much. But he installed it and they all work well. more

There is no way in the world that I could have known that a high security lock was impossible to open without drilling it out! Then I had to pay to replace the damn thing! And HOLY EXPENSIVE BATMAN! But I guess it is what it is... more

Great service guys! All done in minutes and I am happily on my way (no, not to bury my dog for locking the door from the inside) But to pick up a chew toy for him. How could anyone be angry at a locked car door when a puppy is all happy to see you, wagging his tail every time you look in the window, wondering why it is that you don’t let him out to run around and play! more

I didn't expect it to cost this much... 3/25/2011

I wasn’t exactly thrilled when I found half of my car key. The worst part is that I didn’t even realize that it was broken! I found these people on my phone. I can’t say that I’m thrilled at spending 250 bucks for a key, but considering the fact that it is an 08, What else could I expect? more

Pleasant experience! 3/23/2011

I hate the fact that nobody can actually give you a price over the phone. They always need to come out and then tell what the cost is! Even though I have a really basic lock. I can’t understand it. These guys didn’t charge me too much, I just don’t understand why they can’t tell me it is going to cost 80 bucks to open the lock! more

I can't say that everybody will experience that same type of service that I received, but I can say that if you need a locksmith that these guys are definitely a good first try. more

Spirit Locksmith in New York is just great - i called this morning when i got up and found someone was tempering with the lock on the front door of our apartment. I called my super and he gave me this number. thanks so much for a prompt service. more

These people are pretty patient with me. I know absolutely nothing about cars. All i know is that I didn't need to know a thing about my car when I told these guys that I locked my keys inside the car. At first they were asking me about the year and type. All i know is that it is a taurus. So that is what I told them. I guess that was all the information that I needed. They came out to me within 40 minutes and I was back inside in no time. All i can say is that these people are fast and friendly. And they're good locksmiths! more

never thought it was possible 1/15/2011

So the other day i was all upset when i realized that i lost the keys to my car. I wasn't home, I was visiting a friend of mine and didn't know the area well. As a matter of fact I had absolutely no idea where I was! But lately i've been taking self healing classes and so I just took a deep breath. I heard a bird tweeting and when I looked up, I saw a billboard that said "need help? google it!" So that is exactly what I did from my phone! I found these guys and called. They were here in less than an hour and I was on my way soon after! Now I can really say that when I was in need that a little birdie told me so! more
