I've visited this charming ""home town"" diner several times now and have been consistently pleased. It has been our ""go to"" fall back for breakfast when we have family or friends visiting in from out of town. Breakfast is served until 11 and all day on weekends. There?s plenty to choose from too. Everything you would expect from basic eggs and bacon with hash browns to breakfast tacos or croissant sandwiches. The pancakes got a thumb?s up from my dad and my fiance loved the sausage gravy served over country biscuits. \r
My daughter and I have stopped in and enjoyed their lunch specials. The sandwiches are nothing fancy, but filling and delicious. The food here can very be described as home-style cooking. The tuna sandwich reminded me of the way my mother used to make it; I almost expected to find the crust had been cut off. ;-P The wait staff are efficient, but nothing is fast paced here they take time to be friendly and visit as you place your order. This is a great place to have lunch while you spend an afternoon exploring the little gift shops and antique stores in ?old downtown? Wylie.
Pros: Quaint home-style cooking - Great Breakfasts
Cons: Parking
