Honest and Reasonable: My son is a student in Cedar Falls and had some car trouble. Since he doesn't know much about cars, I told him I'd make the arrangements to have the car repaired. I live in the Des Moines area, which is about a 2 hour drive. I contacted L & M and thery had the car repaired the next day. The cost was much less than expected. In fact, since I was from out of town, the only way the cost could have been that low was if the owner was honest. I gave the owner my phone number and permission to use me as a reference. If anyone would like to hear the details of my experience, just give me a call. I highly recommend L & M. more

Great Place; Best Price and Service in the Cedar Valley 10/14/2011

I now trust L & M for everything on my car. I have gotten my transmission replaced there, several sensors replaced, suspension work, oil changes, and nearly anything that you can think of. Each time there is an issue, they walk you through exactly what it means, tell you the different options, and tell you what they think is best for your situation, even if it's not the most expensive option. I would, and have, recommended L & M to my friends, and I am so happy that I have found a mechanic that is not just interested in taking every dollar they can. Highly recommend! more
