My mother called the Cleveland, TN store this morning to get a replacement part. The man that answered the phone was rude to her, so I called back after repeated times someone finally answered. I told the man the problem that had occurred and he then replied oh the woman with the bad attitude I already helped her. I then said no you didn't she needs to know where the model number is at. So I asked for corporate number and then he replied I own l and b appliance. I was amazed and shocked at the same time that the owner of a store would conduct business like that. I told him there is always someone over him and he said no, last time I checked people that own that much of a business don't work in their own stores he said he owned TN and GA stores. VERY RUDE I would rather pay full price at Lowes with good customer service and help. We called Lowes got the part ordered with no snide remarks and it cost less than what l and b had later quoted my brother. more

In past years I have bought several products from L&B. Most have done well. My last purchase was a microwave that was a floor sample and was at a discount . It was about a month before we installed it when we noticed the mounting brackett was not with it. I went back to the store to tell them it was not with it. They said that I probably threw it away.They ordered me another one for $39.00. About 6wks ago I went in to check on a new dishwasher. When I walked in the employees were standing around talking and made no move towards helping me. Finally one came over when he seen that I was headed out the door. I have told a lot of people to go there but not anymore will I recommend a friend to go there more

I'm raising 3 grandchildren and have alot of laundry in my house.I needed a new washer and dryer.I went to the L&B in chatsworth ga. and got front loaders matching for 850.00 for the set. I was thrilled and still am they have been wonderful.I went looking for a scratch and dent and they have a few but who cares.I've bought new appliances and had problems but these have worked great and kept up with my demands .I can only say plug it up at the store see if they will let it run over night if necessary and check back the next day if you have doubt, but I highly recommend this store,but with anything problems can occur so do your homework.I'm a happy customer. more

The first review was definately incorrect. Granted the appliances do have some issues, but when you get hundreds of dollars off (and I do mean hundreds off) it is absolutely a great deal. Oh yea remember this IS scratch and dent, so look closely! Don't be afraid to roll out each prospective purchase. Most of the dents, scratches, and chiped paint will be on the sides or the corners. I would try to avoid any paint chipping if the metal is exposed, no one wants a rusty stove or dishwasher. The last time I shopped here with a friend, she saved over $1000 and all the brands and models were identical to those at Lowe's. Look at other places first, take notes and then go to L & B and compare apples to apples. Oh yea, don't wait too long or the items you are looking at will be sold. One more thing, they delivered for free to certain areas.\r Happy hunting! more

my fridge was on its last leg so i had to buy a new one an acquaintance at work suggested L&B APPLIANCES so i thought could;nt hurt. i when i first walked into that store i should have known to go elsewhere no one wanted to help me ,well anyway i buy this fridge he said i wil let you have this cheaper because of a fewdents how about a thousand dents. never buy an appliance from here the handle falls off of mt new fridge and he says 20.00 to replace it, i called and it was ZERO DOLLARS. more
