The food here is excellent! If you go during lunch time, you are gonna have to wait a little bit but the food is worth the wait! more

One of the best places for BBQ in the area, based on the food, but the customer service at Kyle's is terrible. I've never dined in due to the size of the dining area, which is small and somewhat cramped; of the last 4 carry-out orders that I've placed; 2 have been incorrect. The first wrong order had a mix up of two hamburgers and the second one, which included a rib plate, was missing the ribs. My girlfriend was in a hurry and should have checked the rib order, but there were three Styrofoam containers in the bag, which we assumed were the two pork plates and the one rib plate that we ordered. When she got home and checked the containers, the pork plates were correct, but the rib plate just had the sides in it. My girlfriend called the restaurant to inform them of the error and they said to come back to have the order corrected. When she got to Kyle's and spoke with the lady at the counter, she tried to charge her for an additional order of ribs. She asked to speak to the manager and he basically did everything short of out-right accusing her of lying about the ribs missing from the order. The funny thing is; there was an order of ribs just sitting out in the kitchen that one of the waitresses said they couldn't figure out who they belonged to. Finally the manager realized that it was from our order and gave them to her, without so much as an apology. more

The person who said this place is not worth the wait is crazy becuase this is by far the best bbq I've had. Think this person visited on a busy day becuase i've never had bad service. more

Not an exceptional BBQ place, it's about the only BBQ place. It's NOT worth the wait, the parking lot is worse than awful and they only have about 12 -15 tables inside a very small restaurant. You will also have to endure other customers watching every bite you take until you until you finish your meal -yuk. Pros: (wanted to rate zero stars) more

DEFINITELY THE BEST BBQ, ALTHOUGH CROWDED AT PEAK TIMES, IT'S WELL WORTH THE WAIT. THE SMELL WILL MAKE YOU TWICE AS HUNGRY. I RECOMMEND ORDERING THE ONION RINGS, AS AN APPETIZER, THEY ARE COOKED PERFECTLY. MY HUSBAND & I CAN NEVER DECIDE ON WHAT TO GET, SO HE'LL ORDER 1 THING I'LL ORDER ANOTHER, & WE'LL SPLIT IT. THE CHEESEBURGER 'ALL THE WAY WITH GRILLED ONIONS' JUST CAN NOT BE BEAT! THE PULLED PORK IS DELICIOUS BUT THE RIBS ARE TO DIE FOR!!!!!!!!!!! AND YOU CAN'T FORGET THE BBQ COLESLAW, IT'S SIMPLE BUT THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD. THE STAFF GREETS YOU WITH A SMILE, FRIENDLY & COURTEOUS. Best BBQ in the Charlotte area. Bridges in Shelby and Bill Spoons in Charlotte get more publicity because they are older/more well established - but the BBQ at Kyle Fletcher's is much, much better. Pros: food, service, price Cons: cramped facility and parking more
