It's a quante little place. They do take out as well. No frills. Great pricing. Pros: Very friendly staff - great food!!

We have been ordering takeout for years - last Saturday (8/24/2013) I stopped in with my Mom who is 83 years old. The place was empty. My Mom ordered takeout and because It was a very hot (93) day she asked for a cool glass of water. She was told that she needed to purchase a bottle of water if she wanted something to drink. My Mom asked if they served water and was told not for take out. Even though we've been coming for years I will never eat here again. Adios more

kwans is delicious 4/16/2008

cutest little chinese restaurant in minneapolis. the service is incredibly fast and cheerful. kwans is local secret and its customers frequent it. weve been eating there for years and have never had any bad experiences. \r \r a great place for people who just want straight-up chinese food. no octopus, just awesome food!\r \r try:\r \r lemon chicken\r curried chicken\r beef and peapods\r wonton soup\r \r cheers! more

Wonderful little place for the neighborhood folk 3/10/2006

KWAN's has an incredibly impressive menu for a neighborhood-oriented Chinese restaurant. Their wonton soup is one of the best I've tried. The quisine overall is very good, but nothing extraordinary or exotic (and expensive) - instead, they offer best value for the money. Service deserves a special mention - it's quick and friendly. The atmosphere is very quiet. KWAN's also started offering lunch buffet recently. A great find in the neighborhood south of the lakes! Pros: quick food, low prices, extensive menu more
