Kutter's is great. They treat me like I've been coming there forever and know my dog and I by name! I love that they are open on Sunday too! more

Everyone is Wonderful! 10/19/2011

The staff at Kutter Pet Care is wonderful. They always are polite and professional both in the boarding area and the Doctor's office. Every doc that I've dealt with there was good. I especially thank Dr. Kutter and Dr. Sipe for their expert advice and every kindness they have shown to me and my pets. more

Stay away from KutterPet Care 10/3/2011

Typically we use Rose Hill Veterinary Clinic but since we got Fritz from PetLand we decided to use KutterPC, this was there suggested vet and we got first shots free. Our beautiful little Fritz started loosing hair and braking out this summer and in August (8/27) we took Fritz in to Kutter. They did no skin scrape to assess the problem and took a guess, Allergic issue gave him prednisone and antibiotic, Kutter sent us home with steroids and antibiotics. A month later when meds were gone everything started going bad again. we called kutter and said we were sure Fritz had Mange but had no money at that time. asked them to see again since he had already been in, they refused. We started treating Fritz for mange at home and he was starting to look better. then we went out of town and left him with family. When we came back Fritz's mange had spread to his chin and today we went to Rose Hill Vet and our suspicion was verified. The Vet did a skin scrape and found mange he complemented us on our home treatment and sent us with additional meds to help with fritz's sickness. I will not be back to Kutter every. and If anyone mentions their name, I will detour people from going there. The big fancy animal hospital isn't always the best. Stay away from Kutter!!! more

The Staff At Kutters Rocks 6/9/2011

We feel fortunate to have such good vets in town. Coco's treatment has always been great and the staff genuinely seems to care. more

Truly The Best! 1/27/2010

I love having a one stop shop! I have been to other vets in town, but Kutter's Rocks! It is very comforting knowing your vet is open 7 days a week and they know what they're doing. The staff always offers to help me to my car with my pets or purchases. They even meet me at the drive up door with my prescriptions! My pets always seem happy to trot right in and enjoy all the attention they get. And, the place is sooo clean! Pros: Customer Service, Hours, Knowledge Cons: Wish they had more boarding available more

double check your medical records. 8/26/2009

We have been taking our dog to Kutters for the past year since we purchased her from petland. She has been to them over 20 times in the last year. This last trip will be her last. She had been experiencing some shaking and we thought it might be best to get her looked over before we went on vacation. They didnt treat the problem and documented the main issue that she was being brought in for was an allergic reaction and they gave her a shot. They hadn't even taken her temperature. If she is shaking wouldn't you think that is the easiest reason to explain her shaking. Anyways, so she got a shot and we assumed that would fix the problem. We left her with family while on vacation and when we returned they informed us that the dog had been shaking while we were gone. The shaking had been taking place intermittently and we hadnt noticed the shaking for the next week or so. Then the following weekend she was acting very lethargic and shaking again. We took her to the emergency vet that night and determined that she had a fever. She has been on anitbiotics and has never felt better. From this story you would most likely conclude that she had been running a fever intermittently this entire time, just as I would conclude. Obviously I am no Doctor and certainly not an expert on animal care but the first thing I would do is take her temperture. Remarkably her medical records did not reflect her shaking as the main reason for us bringing her in. When asked why her temperature was not taken Dr. Kutter replied that it was the vet tech's job to take the temperature and that they had a talk about it. Do what you want with your pet but mine wont be back to see Kutters ever. Pros: Close to home and can always get in. Cons: read below, this isnt the first time for such an incident. more

I didn't realize that my 20 yr old cat was dying until after office hours. Dr. Kutter let me bring her in and talked me into letting him evaluate her over night instead of euthanizing her on the spot. The next day he recommended euthanizing her and let me come back and say good bye. He took such great care of her and I was so thankful. more

You will never find another vet clinic that will take as good care of your animals as Kutters. From the doctors to the staff, they are all wonderful! It is truly like taking your kids to their dr. That is how much they care about every pet. There are 4 doctors that work there with Dr. Kutter on different days.I try to stay with Dr. Weidler just because he started taking care of our cats problem, but he is always in the same mood, never anything but caring. He is my favorite. He goes the extra mile for our babies. Pros: always welcome, excellent care, best doctors! more
