Professional! Very knowledgeable of all her products and very good at computer design and graphics. She listens to what is wanted and offers suggestions in manner that is pleasant and acceptable . She will search all manufacturers for necessary components in order to satisfy what is wanted. A key to her success with customers is her flexability. Her motto is All problems are solvable. more

A Professional Craftsman! 7/13/2011

A Professional Craftsman! Crooked walls and ceilings, floors, off angel overhangs etc. are made to look straight and true. He sometimes has to rely on his vast knowledge to make things workable and does so to make the job perfect. This was third room to be remodeled by him and having him as the carpenter was the deal maker. Kurtis is fortunate to have him on their team. more

I ordered a new floor and countertop for the main bathroom, and a new granite countertop, ceramic tile backsplash, new sink, new faucet and garbage disposal for the kitchen near the end of April from Kurtis Kitchen and Bath in Livonia. While the original sale and design left something to be desired I can say that Tina, the manager of Kurtis in Livonia, handled my issues in a professional and courteous manner and made it all right with me including tossing in some extra tiling that the designer had missed on the original order. Its not easy to find a company that really understands customer service so working out the kinks with Tina and Kurtis went well because they get it. more

Snake oil Salesman 5/9/2011

My wife and I went to Kutis Kitchen because of the decent rating they had on BBB. So we made an appointment to come in and talk with a young sales guy about two baths we wanted remodeled. The sales guy(A.K.) was friendly enough and very eager to work with us. We met with the sales guy a couple of more times, he quoted us a price that was way too high about $28k for 2 small baths. I have done remodeling before myself and we are avid reviewers of the DIY home network channel, so we knew the price was too high. But we wanted the work done within a month. We figured we could do some of the work ourselves and cut some of the cost. So, we put a down payment of $1K(non-refundable), as a good faith deposit to continue going forward, FRIST mistake. That's when things went downhill fast. more
