I am a guy and sometimes going to a spa can be a little uncomfortable. Well, KURR is just the opposite. The staff made me feel right at home and took very good care of me. I have had laser hair removal at a few other places around town and the treatments have always been uncofortable. The treatment I received at KURR was the least painful treatment I have ever received. Oh yeah, the price was better also. I recommend this spa to any guys who are looking to get laser hair removal without feeling uncomfortable about it! Pros: Best spa in town! more

I see that someone was very unhappy with their experience at Kurr and I can't imagine why, unless this is a personal issue outside of Kurr. I have been going to see the owner of Kurr before she ever even opened this spa. You truly could not ask for her to be anymore considerate or caring of her clients than she is. She always goes above and beyond what you would expect a normal spa visit to entail. Kurr has a very relaxing, pleasant environment. The staff is very tentive to your questions and concerns. They make you feel like you are the only person they are meeting with that day. I've had experiences in the past with spas that try to rush you in and out to get in more people but not at Kurr. I would highly recommend Kurr and the staff to everyone I know and I do! It is nice to have a spa that has a more personal touch and you don't feel like the next $ coming through the door. It is extremely tacky that the business owner of Kurr is on line disputing a customers complaint. It's hard to read these reviews and know which ones are fake and what is real. Kurr, you might try to achieve 100% customer satisfaction, obviously this person (if the complaint was indeed real) didn't have that experience. I don't think I'll work with anyone on citysearch and instead go with a licensed and experienced center. more

Ok., In the Carmel Current publication, Kurr Carmel Med Spa Offers, Walk in botox hours scheduled 2pm to 6pm every friday. I promptly arrived, at 2:05pm on a Friday. I was whisked away to a non-sterile room, though lovely decorated area. At that time, the nurse approached me did markings. I was told that there was no botox available to be injected. Hun? No matter how pretty the environment, loevly the staff, or fabulous the location, if what is adverstised isnt available, that is crazy. Carmel, IN is small and the word gets around quickly., Needless to say, I was disappointed with this misleading false adverstisment of botox. Pros: Whoever, decorated this place, Did an Amazing Job. I have tried several skin care spas in the area and not received better service and attention. I had several age spots (from years of tanning) that I needed removed. I tried Kurr's laser treatment, and although slightly painful, it has made a definite improvement in my skin's appearance. I was also hesitant to have Botox done, but had two small injections made in my forehead. What a difference! I appreciate the attention and honesty I was given in terms of results. I can not say enough good things about Kurr Med Spa. It is great for all ages from teen to senior citizen. It is GRRREAT if you want to relax with a facial. You are treated like you are the only person in the world. If you want deeper results with skin care then you would need to take advantage of their laser packages. The prices are very reasonable; the staff is very accomodating. It is a small, unique boutique style spa. It is for the spa consumer that wants to be pampered and treated one-on-one. I love going to Kurr! As soon as you walk in the door you are welcomed and you know you have entered a very special place. When you are ready to break free from all those responsiblities at home, head to Kurr for some relaxation and rejuvenation! I went to ""another spa"" for an estimate on a laser treatment to remove a spot on my nose. I never had the treatment because it was so expensive. I went to Kurr, and with one laser treatment at a VERY REASONABLE price, my spot was removed! You are in good hands with both Marianne and Kim at Kurr. They are both skin care experts and ready to go the extra mile to make a customer feel great! They offer an energized, personal approach to your skincare needs! I had a botox treatment for the first time at kurr so I was pretty nervous. Kim and Maryanne were wonderful and made me feel comfortable. The doctor was great. My botox turned out terrific and I am very satisfied with how I look. I feel like it took years off my face. The best part about going to kurr besides the great staff was the cost. It was much less expensive then other local spas. I would definitely suggest that you give them a try if you need some ""work"" done. I also got a free pumpkin peel a week later by using their coupon in the paper. It was fabulous and made me feel terrific. My husband said I glowed afterward (this from a guy who doesn't even notice when I get my haircut). Pros: Great staff, comfortable enviornment. more

If you are looking for a spa w/ a relaxing atmosphere and individual attention, Kurr is your place! Most med spas I have been to are either too small to offer a dynamic line of skin care treatments OR they are too big, generic, & unfriendly ? in those places, you aren?t sure whether you are there for skin care treatments or for dental work!\r \r Kurr is the exception to the rule - small, cozy, but with a great range of personalized services -- facials, botox, laser treatments, etc. I have lived in Chicago, and I?m certain Kurr could compete with the best & trendiest med spas in the Windy City (and there are some in the Windy City that are overrated ? but don?t get me started on that)!\r \r As for pricing, I had a friend who went to Kurr for a laser treatment who was ecstatic with the service she received ? and for what she said was a great price. Being a guy and having NO idea what constitutes a ?good deal? on laser treatments, I did my own homework and found that Kurr?s pricing is lower than any others I found in the Indy area. So I went for laser hair removal and was completely satisfied with the whole experience each time I visited Kurr (hair removal does take several sessions ? if your spa tells you it can all be done with just 1 treatment, they are lying). \r \r I guess the bottom line is that I can?t imagine anyone not being thrilled with Kurr! In reading the last review I am baffled by the comments that were made. Kurr is a boutique spa the provides personalized professional skin care. If anything, they go above and beyond for their guests. The prices are equal if not better than most of the clinical skin care facilities around however, the service is unparalleled. They provide post care and schedule follow-up apts. for peels and laser treatments. This I can tell you is not done ANYWHERE else. If you have skin care concerns, they will provide a detailed treatment plan to work will all different lifestyles and budgets. If there was a time that your treatment didn't achieve quite the desired results that you expected, you should let them know, because they will work hard get you to the place where you are 100% happy (without charging you again). Especially with Laser treatments. One treatment is not going to achieve everything. That is why they are usually done in packages. With being a boutique med spa, Kurr's staff is dedicated to each and every guest and their individual needs. I guarantee you will be pleased. Pros: relaxing atmosphere, personalized attention, attention to detail, all the luxuries of a large spa but intimate setting, open late and weekends more

I, am by no means a Medical Spa regular. However., I do know & recognize the difference between a good value versus a complete ""tourist trap"". I feel, quite frankly, to have been a victim of this tourist trap. I bought into, if you will, the laser genesis rejuvenating facial. I did not see any results. It was pricey. It was a bit uncomfortable. The atmosphere was tedious. Nothing about the procedure seemed to fall into place. I did express concern. Consequently, nothing to date has been addressed nor rectified. For Laser Treatments, See the Laser Specialists. For a True Spa Experience, Visit the Golden Door.., Please, dont try nor expect to cram both worlds into Indiana. My sincere opinion. Pros: parking, convenient location, animal friendly, child friendly, cell phone friendly Cons: Price for laser treatments & results, Overall tone of the business more
