From my initial phone call to my final appointment, this office has out performed any medical or dental office I have ever been to. They sent me a very informative information packet and it was nice to be able to fill out my forms at home where I could review my medications and do it at my leisure. The ladies are courteous and efficient, and they seated me in a private room where I could speak to the doctor in a non threatening place. She went over my records and then introduced me to the nurse who took my xrays. She has state of the art equipment and her xrays are digital which I found out are extremely low dose of radiation than the old films they used to hold up and squint at. She showed me things on each xray on a big computer screen and explained about the bones around my teeth and what fillings, crowns and decay looks like. She even has a tiny camera that make it so I can see what she sees! The business ladies worked with my insurance plans and gave me estimates and the doctor gave me choices so I felt in control of my own plan. She is very understanding of budgeting and does not make a hard sell like other dentists have done to me in the past. It might take a year and a half to get my whole mouth done, but we can use my insurance benefits again in January! She showed me how I could prioritize the treatment and make the best use of my benefits. I like that she's not all about making money, and helps her patients find ways to get their work done economically! She even has a special mill in her office for same day crowns. I had one done and there was no temporary, no 2 week wait, and I can't even tell with tooth has the crown! more

I have been a patient of Dr Kucera's for awhile and I always liked her office and she does very nice work. I'm really a big chicken but she and her staff always makes me feel at ease and comfortable!\r But something happened that made me really appreciate what a wonderful person she really is. She is practically a miracle worker.\r I stepped off a curb and fell down, hitting my head and knocking my ENTIRE front tooth out of my mouth!!! I put my tooth in a glass of milk & called her on a Sunday afternoon & she met me at DMC emergency room. The ER was going to make me wait 6 hours for a cat scan of my head, so she grabbed a pair of gloves and repositioned my tooth right there in the ER waiting room! Then she drove me to her office and bonded it back into place. I made it back to the ER and they didn't even miss me! The tooth stayed bonded for a few weeks then she did a root canal on it after it got reattatched to the socket. I thank God that she cared enough to save my front tooth. It is now capped, matches perfectly and feels great; you'd never know that it had ever been knocked out of my head!\r She went above and beyond the normal treatment that we have come to expect in Medicine. It's good to know there are still docotrs out there who care so much. more

I had a bad car accident where my front teeth were knocked out by my own hand when the airbag went off in my car. Dr Kucera met me at her office on a weekend and got me put back together enough so that I could at least appear in public. She personally phones me after my work has been done to make sure I am comfortable. Now after almost 8 months and numerous surgeries, I have implants where I had the teeth shattered and my restored smile looks better than it did before the accident. I am so thankful that this doctor is so kind, caring, gentle and especially talented in Cosmetic dentistry. more

What a professional, highly trained group of ladies in this office! I was treated with the utmost care and concern. I was given various options to create a fantastic smile. I especially liked the before and after imaging that Dr Kucera's staff did for me, and even when I got temporaries placed, I wasn't ashamed to smile anymore. The finished porcelain veneers were amazing and for the first time in my life I am grinning from ear to ear. Dr Kucera is gentle, caring and an absolute ARTIST. I am sending all of my family there and recommending her to my coworkers! more

I will not visit this dentist again. I can overlook the cheap perfume, but her lack of skill with her dental work is something I will not tolerate. For starters, She does not clean her dental equipment. Avoid this charlatan like the swine flu. Pros: still searching for the pros. Cons: the dental profession let her practice dentistry more

I can't say enough good things about this fine woman. She has done advanced training well beyond other dentists, and I see a lot of dentistry because I am a dental hygienist. She has the latest technologies - digital x-ray, CAD-CAM, lasers, and most importantly, she is an ARTIST. The things that I see her do are beyond the ""Extreme Makeover"" show that you see on TV! I'd trust her with my family, and recommend her to all of my friends. Pros: Best dentist in California Cons: I wish my ENTIRE family could be her patients more
