This little restaurant is a true gem that serves traditional Thai dishes in a cozy, inviting setting. Their tuna tartare appetizer in a chilly lime marinade with just enough kick to tickle your palate is sushi-grade and better than most sushi restaurants offer (DO NOT expect the same standard of the sushi place next-door to Kratiem). Their fish entrees are incredibly flavorful, with each vegetable and spice making its individual mark on the finished product. I would skip the desert, which I've only had on one occasion, and have not wanted to risk since. Kratiem's fare is just too good to spoil with anything but the most exquisite ending, and to this end they still aspire.
