My son recently went on a Chinese food kick when his grandmother took him to a Chinese restaurant. One afternoon we decided to try Kowloon, which usually has many cars, due to the fact, I guess, that they are on a major street. The food did not impress me and made me wonder why all the cars. I do not know, nor do I want to remember what I ordered. It may have been the shrimp/pork combo, my son had General something or other. We both agreed that this place is not worth the time, money or effort. We tried the Hong Kong restaurant across the street, and had a great meal. So if you are in the mood for Chinese, you are in West Dearborn, try the Hong Kong in the mini mall instead of Kowloon. Hong Kongs portions were huge, and the food was tasty.
Pros: Close entrance to parking, right off of Michigan Ave
Cons: Food is bland, no taste, no doggie bag this time
