I am so disappointed! \r They charged me more then what they said, when I took in my dog. She had the nerve to charge me a matted fee. I spent an hour the night before brushing my dog. I know he was not matted. They were to leave him "fluffy", his was SHAVED! Then why charge me a matted fee? I did not ask for him to be short! \r I told them I just wanted a trim!\r Plus they left the hair on his face uneven, with a scissor mark across his hair. They cut the top of his head with the machine, leaving it the same size as the body!\r He is a Maltese... I've done better at home.. It looks terrible. I want to cry!!! more

We used Kountry Klippers for approximately one year, and in the beginning we were pleased with the results. However, it wasn't long before they began charging us a "matting fee." Each time we would pick-up our dog, we were surprised by the bill. We couldn't understand how a dog that was regularly groomed every six to eight weeks, lived indoors, and received regular brushing and baths in between grooming visits could be matted. This wasn't a once or twice occurrence . . . the excessive charges continued until we decided to leave. When we called to express our dissatisfaction the salon's owner became angry and belligerent, she never acknowledged our concerns or cared that we were leaving. Thankfully we were able to discover a more scrupulous groomer. more

I have been taking my Shih-tzu to Joy at Kountry Klippers going on 4 years! She has a full coat. I love them! I am vey picky with my baby and they know what to do. The place was very clean and the staff very caring and gentle. My dog loves to go and always comes back looking and smelling great. The grooming was excellent and the clip was perfect. They don't use tranquilizers and are great with nervous and older dogs too. I highly recommend this place to everyone. 30 years in business and I can see why! more

We have a small poodle and the service has been great. You can tell when your dog is happy to go to a place that something is going right. Most places use tranquilizers and these folks don't. That is very important with a small dog. more

I took my Lhasa in for a full groom and they butchered him. Shaved off his beautiful eyelashes. They said he was extremely matted, but he just recieved a full groom 4-6 weeks prior. I feel they were to lazy to brush out. I usually use my de-matter between grooms. I fully explained what I wanted and they said they understood, now I have to wait for his beautiful coat to grow back. The body cut was so choppy and uneven I had to clean up at home :o( more

The staff here is very friendly. I've been going here for about 2 years now and I have always left very satisfied! They do a great job with my dog and are always very gentle. I can't imagine going anywhere else. The facility is clean and they don't use tranqulizers. Prices are GREAT! Hopefully you can find the same satisfaction bringing your best firend here. more

I had to get my dog's nails done and her facial hair clipped and couldn't get in to where we normally take her. I had seen Kountry Kippers many times when I passed it and decided to try them. They got us right in and were very gentle with my puppy. I wanted to go back with them but they would not let me. The did a good job on her face but barely trimmed her nails. I had to go back to my normal groomer a week later to get them done again. I was glad I could get her done in a pinch but they won't be our normal groomers. more

I have been to this place one time. I was not satisfied in there dog grooming capabilities at all. My dogs came back from this place with nicks in there skin and they were shaved VERY badly. I just dont know if i would trust them yet again. They are very nice and understanding people though. They are good and kind hearted and understood how angry i was with my dog not being groomed properly. more

This is a great place to bring your pets to get groomed. They groom all breeds, large or small, dogs or cats. They have been doing business for 25 years now and they work with the Colleyville Animal Clinic. They dont use tranquilizers. PROS: Dogs, Cats, No tranquilizers CONS: more
