This guy is not even a doctor. I didn't even see him I got tired of waiting and left but here it is a bill from my insurance saying I didn't pay my co-pay! damn right I got my 15 dollars back and left dont ever go here you will get your identity stolen!!! more

I had a fever one day and came to the nearest urgent care clinic, which was Dr.Kostenboym's Clinic. He explained in details what to do and spend more than 40 minutes with me.I would definitely go to his office again. more

Neither Dr. Kostenboym nor his nurses speak English as their primary language and this made it very difficult as an English-speaking patient. As a result, all case history and diagnosis was plowed through with little comprehension on both sides. When it came time for blood work, the nurse was incapable of keeping the needle still (excruciating) or of filling the blood vials without squeezing my arm to "pump" out more blood. When it was over, she couldn't understand why I was in pain. I will never set foot in that office again. more

as a new patient, they did not ask for my medical history at any point. he did not examine me, in fact i talked to him in his office, it was not even an exam room. i came home and promptly changed my PCP. i do not recommend him at all. more

Dr. Kostenboym was very attentive and looked me in the eye. I was nervous whether I made the right choice to see him and I left feeling very confident that I chose a Dr. that I would feel comfortable calling on with my health issues from this point on. I would recommend him to women as well as to men. He is very friendly and I had no problem at all understanding him and he had no problem understanding me. I appreciated being able to have my blood tests done right there in the office and his nurse is very sweet and gentle. One more plus is that the Santa Monica office is very clean and just so pleasant to look at. more

Yes he seems knowledgeable; but hard to understand. When I went for my first visit it felt like a business meeting and not a Dr. appointment. The Santa Monica location does not have the capabilities to do vaccines or draw blood work. The Dr. was wrong about a skin problem I was having and brushed off my other problem because I'm young although I have been having this IBS problem for many years and it has nothing to do with drinking enough water. I insisted he send me to a specialist. When I did go to see the specialist they said the Doc filled it out on the wrong form so I went down to LAX for nothing and waited for 2 hours just to have them tell me I would have to have the Doc fill out the right referral form. The only thing I liked about Dr. Kostenboym's office is the receptionist is friendly and helpful and you can get appointments right away and same day unlike UCLA where you'll be waiting for a month. I'll have to weigh it out and see him again to know for sure if I'll stay. more

This is a VERY good family doctor with many years of experience. Our entire family has been seeing Dr. Kostenboym for over 20 years if that tells you something! he has 2 offices, one in West Hollywood and one in Santa Monica. more
