Buscuit finds a home 3/12/2015

I was treated fantastic by Vicki and Mary and the rest of the people at kootenai humane society. We have gotten a wonderful pet "timber" and had to rehome another, (biscuit).They folks there are simply the best. Biscuit, was a 4 yr old lab cross that found a new home in a matter of days. I spent a couple of hours there recently watching them do there work. What a professional society.. The only no kill facility that I know of in our area. Please donate if you can, they get no help from our taxes of any kind. Thank you David Alexander liberty lake. more

Adopt a friend for life 9/19/2006

We adopted our 6 year old boxer, Max, when he was 8 or 9 months old. We had been looking for a few months and wanted a new family member, and a playmate for our other dog. We went to the Kootenai Humane Society with the intention on adopting and saving a dog from the shelter life and to give him/her a new family and a new chance. The Kootenai Humane Society is a non-profit organization funded totally from donations, adoptions and grants. This is a fantastic organization and they have a NO-KILL policy and we are a proud sponsor of them throughout the year. We donate dog food and money several times a year. Very clean and friendly facility. more
