Never Again 8/6/2007

Never again. I was delighted with the appearance of the cake but we were shocked and extremely disappointed by the grainy texture and the bland mousse filling I was talked into. I would have been better off with a cake from White's, Ivy's, Sunrise or bought a Montillio's cake at BJ's. more

Downhill 7/31/2007

This used to be THE bakery on the South Shore to get your cakes amd baked goods from. They have expanded into a bakery which no longer has the personalized service that one often needs when ordering a special cake for a special event. The cake is very dry. I am told it is because most everything is frozen now, due the mass production. In my opinion...go to Ivy's Fine Cakes in Braintree or Canton. Ivy's has the best cake I have ever had, and the service is extremely personalized. Cons: frozen cakes more

I would never buy a cake anywhere else! 11/26/2005

After having a Konditor Meister cake at a friends wedding, I was hooked!! The cake was Strawberry Grand Marnier and it was delicious: not too sweet, and not too heavy. When a friend of mine had a baby shower, I insisted on providing the cake so I could choose Konditor Meister. Everyone raved about how awesome it was! For my own wedding, we choose Bailey's Irish creme as well as Strawberry Grand Marnier layers of cake. The cakes are not only delicious, they are beautifully decorated. The prices are reasonable, for the quality you are getting. The store also carries various baked goods, which I have tried, but I am sure they are equally well prepared. more

If you want a world class cake for your next event, this is the place to go. I ha done of their cakes for my wedding and it was "to die for. Just the appointment to choose the cake was fun. They have a small cafe type sitiing room and they bring in slices of diiferent cakes for you to try while you look through the books for your design! So fun. do this with your bridesmaids! If looking for a cake for another event, they have adorable baby shower cakes, anniversary etc and can design what ever you'd like. You can watch the "artists" at work from their shop and see them decorating cakes. Not cheap but worth every penny. Something for everyone's tastes! more

wedding cake review 11/9/2005

Average overall experience. Our cake was not cooled and ended up sliding apart during transport. We could not use one of the layers it was so badly damaged. I know this is Boston's Best but I was disappointed. On the plus side, people could not stop talking about the cake and how good it was. I did not get to have any but I am sure we will enjoy our cake top next year more

Konditormeister is the best place in New England to get a cake of ANY kind. I know they are known for Wedding cakes, but I've gotten my kids' birthday cake s there as well as cakes for other occasions and I can't even describe how great they are. They melt in your mouth. You can call ahead by 2 days to special order something, or go to their counter during regular hours and they have plenty of cakes to choose from. Always a hit. more

The cakes at Konditor Meister are incredible. If you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, graduation, wedding, or any special occasion definitely consider them. They have so many flavors of cake and filling to choose from, and all of them are delicious. Their service is also wonderful as they let you taste samples to help you find the perfect cake for your occasion. more

Heaven in a cake 7/4/2005

So good, especially if you like booze. The Kahlua cake with chocolate covered strawberries is one of the best cakes I've ever tasted. Pricey, but worth it. Parking is ample, but Braintree is a pain during rush hour. more

Amazing cakes and pastries! 10/4/2004

Ranked best wedding cake in the nation, and I can believe it! I've had both the French pastry assortments and cakes here and have never tasted anything so good in my life. Their chocolate moose is decadent. Their cakes are very reasonably priced for what you get. I ordered a cake for a coworker and got something equivalent to a wedding cake (fed 40 people) for $45! AMAZING. Truly works of art. Pros: taste, quality, creativity more

Fantastic German cakes 10/21/2002

I have been to expensive shop where a 10in cake cost $50 up to a few hundred dollars. But at this place, I spent less than $30 and beats all others. The Omni Hotel's cakes are not as good at Konditor Meister's. My boyfriend actually licks off the icing off the plate all the time. more
