I've been a patient of Leonia Medical for the past 13 years & must admit that I DREAD having to go there for exams, checkups, or any medical reason at all. Granted, you're not always feeling your best when calling a drs office and due to this, you might easily be offended, but the staff here is not only constantly rude, short & curt on the phone but they bring a whole new feeling of discomfort to you when you arrive in person. Everything from scheduling an appt, checking-in for your appt, presenting your insurance i.d. etc is always a hassle. And Lord help you if you're not ready to come up with the co-pay before seeing the Dr. Clearly they don't like their jobs or have any tolerance for dealing with the public.\r

After you're checked in & it's time to visit the actual doctor, you really need to have some thick skin if you're a patient of Dr. Kocher. I can't speak to the other doctors on staff in this group practice who might actually be Prince Charmings, but wow, Dr. Kocher missed the class on Beside Manner 101 during his medical schooling. While he seems to be very well versed & experienced in the world of medicine, he's abrupt & condescending when (barely) holding a conversation with you. I've never left feeling good about myself; mostly due to the fact that he speaks down to you during your entire time with him & then bolts out the door as if the room is on fire (never looking back to see if his patient has escaped). \r

I'm sure there must be some well-mannered, happy individuals employed at Leonia Medical, but unfortunately, I haven't met them yet. Might be time for me to find a new physician's office. One where I don't leave feeling worse than when I arrived.\r
