Buyer Beware!!! These nut jobs did a bathroom renovation for me and 1 month after I paid them, the shower pan was leaking into my neighbor's apatmment below. I was horrified!!...

This is my second time working on an apartment renovation with Knockout and once again it was overall a very positive experience. Keith and his team provide an excellent level of service and quality beginning during the planning phase and not letting up until the last items on the punch list are done. All the way through, the Knockout guys are attentive and responsive: communications and customer satisfaction are clearly a priority. In contrast to stories I hear about working with other contractors, with Knockout there is never any chasing to do. Work is delivered on time and on budget. Any changes or problems that arise are dealt with efficiently and without debate. I have recommended their services to several friends and would do so again without hesitation. Knockout is not the cheapest option, but they may well be the best. In the end you get what you pay for. more

I have used them three separate times - twice for kitchen renovations (at different apartments) and once for a living room and bedroom floor replacement. That was over the course of more than 10 years, so I am clearly very happy with their service. I'm planning to hire them again for a bathroom renovation within the next year. more

Knockout Renovation is the worst !! 4/19/2012

Buyer Beware!!! These nut jobs did a bathroom renovation for me and 1 month after I paid them, the shower pan was leaking into my neighbor's apatmment below. I was horrified!! I contacted the owner of Knockout and he stated that it was not his problem because he tested the pan and it was not leaking at the time it was installed. BUYER BEWARE!! These folks are scam artist!! more

We didn't do a shower or shower pan for this gentleman. He posted this false review because he called us years after his warranty expired to insist that we replace a toilet that had recently cracked. We provide a long list of satisfied clients to prospective new clients.

Excellent Company! 4/6/2012

We have a small one bedroom apartment in Manhattan that desperately needed a new kitchen and bathroom. We wanted a quick, high quality contractor who would do everything for us and we were willing to spend a little more to make sure that promises were fulfilled and our neighbors and co-op board were satisfied and not disturbed too much. The work was completed ahead of time. The quality was excellent, and we didn't have to do anything with the co-op board or city inspectors. It was all taken care of for us. We couldn't be more pleased with the result. Our coordinator, Beth, was excellent. She kept us apprised of progress weekly and helped choose materials. She was reachable when we needed her and always returned emails and phone calls. I was actually surprised that Knockout exceeded our expectations and would recommend them regardless of the size of the project. Very professional and they kept their promises. more

I was very disappointed with this company. Gave me a plan for a very small kitchen that was going to cost over $50,000. Ask them to break down the cost and never heard from them again..Its there way or the highway. more

I am very pleased with my renovation! The punchlist follow-up took longer than it should have, so that timing could be improved upon. But, it was all worth it! more

They run a highly professional and more importantly a trustworthy company. We had interviewed other renovation companies and know of many horror stories from friends and neighbors. Pros: Great one stop shop Cons: A little pricey more

Never again! 10/25/2007

As a former customer of Knockout Renovation I can only agree with the post who suspected the reviews to be fake. I am aware that most customers have a story to tell about their contractors but our stories usually take the prize in every category: completely unreasonable delays, unclear billing, flawed advice as to material selection, unresponsiveness and sloppy implementation. Aside from the fact that the project took more than three times the amount of time scheduled. We are still paying to fix the many mistakes. We have since found a contractor that is all of what Knockout claims to be based on their ads posted above. more

Excellent Service 8/3/2007

Knockout Renovation redid my Kitchen as well as some work in the hallway of my Manhattan Apt. The quality of work was outstanding a little pricy but well worth it. They did a great job , possibly could have been completed in less time but the outcome was worth the wait. Would recommend to a friend. Pros: Great Service more

Great Service 1/18/2007

Knockout did a complete redesign/renovation of our 2 bedroom apartment (aprox 1,000 sq ft.). Amazing attention to detail and incredibly responsive. Aside from a couple of minor hiccups (all projects of this scale will have 'em), they far exceeded all of our expectations and would immediately turn to them if we were to have any additional renovation needs. These guys are full service--from creating the design/blueprints to following through in making it exactly as it was planned. Everyone at this company, from the person answering the phone to the owner care and work hard to make one's renovations go smoothly. more

Sal & Jen were the renovation dream team. Jen's style sense and dedication to our happiness was fantastic. She understood our style sensibility and made adjustments along the process to help us stay on budget and on task. We would highly recommend her counsel. Sal was an excellent project manager. He recognized that we would be the kind of clients who wanted to be involved in the process. He kept us informed daily and made miracles happen (like our custom granite in 3 days instead of 2 weeks.) Sal adeptly handled any bumps in the road and made the process very cooperative. Keith, we appreciate your attention to detail and commitment to making us happy. We love every inch of our new kitchen and owe it to you and your team. more
