Excellent Dermatologist and very professional. Took the time to listen to my story, evaluate my condition and most importantly, explained the details of treatment. Answered all my questions. Extremely knowledgeable about Lasers. I can see why he was recommended to me by friends and several physicians in the New York area. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a competent and friendly dermatologist. more

Had surgery -- Dr. Kling did an excellent job. His manner is professional, he gladly answers all questions, and was straight-forward. His manner is courteous he was warm and friendly. His staff there is very kind; they don't rush you out and Dr. Kling does not rush you either. I highly recommend Dr. Kling. more

I have been his patient since and I am very pleased because my face has improved significantly. I will continue to see him for maintenance. I am aware that dermatology seems to appeal to the vanity in all of us. We go to a Doctor and expect miracles even if we've had problems for a lifetime. What I feel I have to say and what is probably the most important is that Dr Kling takes the right approach. He sits you down and truly formulates a treatment path that makes sense and actually works! I'd had a host of issues and one by one he explained the relationships between all of them. The myth and mystery were stripped away and even though my problems were of a personal nature I was always made to feel comfortable and in the best of hands. Dr. Kling has been treating me for psoriasis for a long time. Dr. Kling placed me on many different medications over time until he found a regimen that worked best for me. I was most impressed by the fact that whenever there was a new medication or treatment he would research it and explain it to me thoroughly beforehand, so I knew what to expect. He also once stayed late in order to remove a large cyst on my back that had started to drain. He rescheduled something else he had going on in order to get this done because he knew that I would not have been able to go into work the next day if it wasn’t first removed. He really went out of his way to help. more

I was a patient of Dr. Carr's and ever since her passing I have been looking for a dermatologist that could meet the standard of care she provided. Dr. King was not thorough in his examination and appeared rushed. He sounded more like he was reading in fast forward from a script when he explained the process of the biopsy he had just conducted. He also never called me with me results and when I called the office was told that my result were in (even though no one ever bothered to call me) results were not given over the phone and I would have to come in for a visit. As a survivor of melanoma I found this very alerting. Thankfully, I was fine. Also during my initial visit, he did not ask me a single question about my previous melanoma removal surgery, even though I did list it on my form and mentioned it to him during the exam. I have to say after reading all the positive feedback on this site, I was extremely surprised and wondered if people here actually went to this doctor or if someone was making these reviews up! more

I was referred by my family doctor and think that Dr. Kling is an excellent physician. I initially came in with along list of questions about my condition and he read the list and answered all of my questions. The doctor I went to before couldn’t be bothered and he took one look at my list and essentially walked out of the office. I changed jobs and the location of my new job was not that convenient to Dr. Kling’s office but I would switch around my schedule to go to see him because he is very nice and very smart and very personable and that is not an easy combination to find. Dr. Kling put me on a medication that I have to take on a regular basis, and whenever I come into the office he checks in his laboratory to see if there are any samples. He once had his secretary track down the drug representative so that he could get free samples so that he could give them to me. How good is that? more

I was sent to Dr. Kling’s office for a mole check and he found a small black bump that had been there awhile but never really bothered me. I was reassured because he was doing such a complete body exam. I joked with him that this was a little over the top because he was actually checking in between my toes! Good thing he did. He found a small black mole and took it for a biopsy. It turned out to be a malignant melanoma, which is one of those cancers that can spread and kill you. He saved my life. I’m not making fun of him again for being so thorough. Pros: knowledgable, compassionate Cons: small waiting room more

I was referred to Dr. Kling’s office because of a recurrent problem I’ve had for awhile. I had already seen two other dermatologists and I kept having a problem and it seemed like this thing would keep going on forever. I asked my internist for a referral and he said that Dr. Kling was the absolute only guy I should go to for this problem. I was already I little fed up with doctors but I decided to go anyway for a consult. Boy, am I glad that I did! Dr. Kling explained what was going on and gave me reading material so I would understand what was going on. I followed his advice and I finally have this condition under control. I finally feel normal again. He really did a lot for me. Pros: great doctor, friendly staff, professional atmosphere Cons: parking kinda hard depends on the time of day more

Unfriendly staff, waited for 45 minutes and saw the doctor for 2 minutes. Dr. Kling prescribed me the wrong medication even with my chart directly in front of him. It was like a cattle call in the waiting room which is fine if the doctor is good and attentive. But this was not the case. Horrible experience and I've found a new doctor. Cons: Unfriendly staff, poor medical care and absurd wait. more

I think he's competent, but he definitely gives the impression that if you're not there for an expensive treatment, then its not worth his time. He sped me through his office (after keeping me waiting) in 30 seconds, and with an air of impatience. more

Didnt seem to listen to my issues. Very very fast diagnosis, in and out in 5 minutes. Very short and not interested in details. Will be seeking another doctor more

Off course all experiences are subjective, but when you have a doctor that dismisses the reasons you are there and sends you on your way with a presciption absence a diagnosis as well with a prescrition for symptoms you never reported, I would say that quilifies for a ""less than stellar rating""...I won't even bother getting into bedside manners.
