Extremely RUDE & IGNORANT!\r They have my car for a week now for the A.C not working..I would call and the owner REFUSED to talk to me. I said i had a right to know what's going on with MY car! I have never been treated so bad from a business in my life. Evidently, they put my car off because i called 3x to find out what the problem was. So what was only supposed to take 2 days to fix in now over a week. I would never recommend this damn place to anyone! Or National Motors (which is where i bought the car) They are also rude and don't care about their customers! more

I couldn't be more pleased with the service and generosity of the staff and Klausmeier's. I have been a customer for many years and I can see why this shop has been serving the community for so long. They are a family run business and I have noticed them treating my vehicles as their own. If you want a reputable and honest mechanic, this is your place. more

I am very unhappy with my family's visit to Klausmeier's. We were under the impression that they were honest mechanics. My family member took a car to them for inspection. They quoted a price of around 400. We came to pick up the car and we were informed it was 900!!! Don't you think you should have called the customer before doubling a quote? Shouldn't they have called and let someone know that the price was going to DOUBLE????? That is called ripping off your customer. I would advise you to go somewhere else. These guys are crooks. Anyone who would do that to a Grandmother is really a crooked business man. more

We are new again to the area and needed repair on our car.I searched on the internet and found Klausmeier and read the outstanding reviews! I called for an appointment ,we brought the vehicle in and before they did anything they called to let us know what it needed and total cost.We have had this vehicle in the shop before and no one could find the issue. I MOVED HERE FROM ATLANTA, GA AND I SEARCHED FOR A GOOD REPAIR SHOP. SOEONCE SUGGESTED KLAUSMEIR & SONS AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH ON OTHER REPAIR SHOPS THER RATING WERE NOT GOOD. I live closer to Bel Air, and as of a couple years ago still found myself bouncing around mechanics trying to find a good, honest shop.\r \r Started going to Carl and have had nothing but great experiences; always getting the best price, most honest estimates, as well as quality of work.\r \r It's a good 20-30 minutes down the road, so I have found myself trying a few local (Bel Air) shops for convenience, and on 3 separate occasions have been given false, inflated estimates. My repairs were simple: my drivers side window wasn't working. I was pretty sure it was off some sort of tracking device (I'm not very good with cars). Rita at the front desk was very genial every time I spoke with her. Carl called me when the work was complete and saved me about $400 by repairing a part instead of replacing it. I'm not sure if auto shops make too much of a profit off of markup on parts, but I appreciated his honesty. My car was fixed within 48 hours of the drop off, just in time to finish up some Christmas shopping. I will definitely continue to use Klausmier & Sons for any more auto work. Klausmeier and Sons is a family run business with great personnel and experience. As a customer for the last 10 years, I can trust them for an honest diagnosis of my car. There aren't many repair garages around to get honest and reliable work. With the technology changing in the automotive world, Carl and John have kept up with the curve. more

I used to be a customer at Klausmeier for at least 7 years. At first the service was great, with no problem at all. With time the shop's business seemed to be outgrowing the number of mechanics the shop had, thus causing them to hire some inexperienced mechanics. For the past 2 years whenever I have had some work done to my vehicle, they always screw something else up. The shop used to have a small local friendly feeling, but now they are becoming as bad as your local big chain mechanics. The shop says it may take a day or 2 to get something done, but do not be fooled, they will cause some other problem, causing you to be without your car for a longer amount of time. \r \r Don't get me wrong, Carl is honest, but the new mechanics are horrible. They are very unreliable and are rushing to get work done, thus messing things up/overlooking things. Pros: Cheap prices, Carl is honest Cons: Rest of the mechanincs know nothing, they rush, thus causing other problems more

The crew at Klausmeier and Sons did an excellent job repairing the brakes and exhaust on my Taurus. The service was great and the owner of the shop, Carl, was very honest with me and helped explain my options and the costs involved. \r \r I would highly recommend this shop to anyone wanting reliable and honest work done to their vehicle. more
