Aimee has been cutting my hair for years, so when I moved out of the LA area -- I didn't know what to do. I tried lots of stylists in Chicago, but nobody was quite as good. So now, what do I do? I fly to LA for a haircut!! Sounds crazy, I know, but it's worth it. For instance, this last January I had Aimee cut my long hair into a short bob, longer in front, quite short in back. It grew out so perfectly that I was still getting compliments on my ""haircut"" several months later!!! more

Neilani ROCKS! 5/4/2011

I have been going to Allen Pacheco Salon for 5 years and have gone to a few stylists before landing in Neilani's chair. She is by far the best stylist Allen Pacheco Salon has! She took the time to listen to my every need and answered all my questions and concerns. I have gotten some of the best haircuts and color from her and her consistency never fails. I have referred a few friends to her as well and all of them rave about how great she is and their hair is the best ive seen on them in a very long time! Honestly, anyone who goes to Neilani will not be disappointed! SHE ROCKS! more

One day I was at the park and saw a woman with beautiful red, thick, wavy tresses. Her hair was just like mine except it looked amazing. This woman had a sweet little baby with her, so I knew that she didn't have time to spend hours on her hair. I asked her who cut her hair and she said, ""Jamie at Allen Pacheco!"" Needless to say, I made an appointment right away and have been thrilled ever since. Not many have been able to tame my tresses, but Jaime knows how to release the joy & beauty in thick, wavy hair. I even tried the supposed guru of curly, Ouidad, but Jamie really blows them out of the water! Also, my color is amazing. She really listens to what you want, and uses her artistic eye to give you the best, most flattering look. I've been to stylists who cut well, and colorists who color well, but Jaime really is the first I've met who does both with extreme skill. I heart Jamie!! more

By far the best stylist around. Nobody does my hair but Jamie. The color and cut is always right on. I drive all the way from Long Beach because she is the best. Also, the salon is very comfortable filled with friendly people. I always leave the salon feeling and looking good. more

Jamie B. is the best hair artist! I have been going to her for about 10 years. She is the best at cuts, color, and styling. She styled my hair for my wedding and it was stunning. I get stopped on the street by strangers just to ask me who cut or colored my hair. It's truly crazy, but she really does do such a great job. I would never go anywhere else but here. It's a beautiful salon too. I highly recommend her. You won't be disappointed and your hair will look amazing! more

Miranda Mathes at Allen Pacheco !!! 11/18/2010

Just started going to Miranda Mathes at Allen Pacheco Salon and all I can say is ""WOW"" ! Looking good in my businesss is paramount but I have always had difficulty finding someone that could cut my hair the way it needs to be done. Miranda not only solved that but has made it look better than ever. I will definitely be going back. more

I have been going to Jaime Brown at Allen Pacheco Salon for almost 2 years. She is fantastic! I get so many compliments on my hair color and cut and my hair is not easy to work with. I highly recommend her. Make you appointment because she is popular and books up fast. more

go see aimee. incredible stylist who is one of the best with color. charming, funny, sexy and super talented. Ask her about first time and repeat discounts. The salon has really good vibe; hip but not so much that you have to dress for the occasion. Aimee Darrow is the answer. She does a fabulous job making me look great. I work as an actor and she takes a big 10 off my years. Cuts, color, doesn't matter, she is the best I have found. Please do not book an appointment with her because, then, I won't be able to get in at my favorite time. more

Love this salon! From the friendliness of the receptionists (Yolie is outstanding and can always find a time slot for me most times on short notice) to my stylist, Aimee. Aimee has been doing my hair for a number of years now and I've always been happy when I walk out the door. She is a speed demon with the foils -- for a cut and color you will be in and out in 2 hours. She is also very entertaining and has some fun stories to share! Good music, lots of busy stylists, and easy to find & park. more

It took me forever to find a good stylist in LA and finally found Paul. For the last 10 years he has given me great cuts and color. At this point, he is also like family. Pros: fun, consistent, good cut and good color more

When I leave my session with Paul, I always feel fresh and put together. He can handle my thick head of hair, take my chaotic mess and create a work of art! LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Everyone in the salon is very friendly; the staff seem like a great urban family. Pros: Funny, animated, and fully of stories!!! more

I've been going to Paul for years and couldn't imagine going to anyone else. I get so many compliments on my hair wherever I go! I have short hair and every time he gives me a cut that is easy to style at home and looks great. He spends a lot of attention on texturing and shaping my cut. I also get my hair colored by Paul and the color line he uses keeps my hair healthy without feeling processed or dry. Thank you, Paul, for keeping my hair beautiful! Massimo and Brazilian Treatment 10/13/2009

Massimo recommended the Brazilian treatment for my hair because I have great wavy hair, and lots of it, but it is very fine, and needed constant blow drying and curling to look great. Massimo promised that the Brazilian treatment would make my hair look great straight out of the swimming pool and shower without any touch ups at all...and he was right! I can go from the shower to an important event with nothing more than a brush through my hair and out the door. Cuts down on prep time dramatically given all I have to concentrate on is my make up and ensemble. My hair is already handled. And it has lasted for MONTHS! I am so so happy. Thanks Massimo. Pros: Easiest hair Care ever more
