Mike is probably one of the most honest business people I know. Granted, every time I come in with my Kirby, he asks me if I want to upgrade (my ""baby"" is over 20 years old!), but he doesn't try to hard sell you since he knows that if you/we take care of our Kirbys, they'll last forever! He indicated the same deal as the other review here, and my total came to $113.93, but this included: (1) clean-up/check-up, (2) New intake/seal tube, (3) Rear axle assembly, (4) Fresh wheels, (5) New light/lens, and other little stuff it needed. When he was going over everything he had to do I was squirming in my chair holding my breath. This was/is the BEST value for these machines anywhere. If it wasn't a Kirby, it wouldn't be worth it. I haven't picked it up yet, but I know it'll look as good as new, just like every other time! :)
Pros: Everything really! How many Kirby people do you know???
Cons: Nothing
