The fact that they send a car service to pick you up makes life A LOT easier. I had a door panel replaced and a front bumper (yeah, I am a good driver). It came out to 1800 with tax. I told him that I had gotten estimates on the bumper elsewhere the lowest of which was 1250 and he quoted 1100 for it. I told him I didn't get an estimate for the door panel (even though I had but I wanted to see if he came in lower without that) and he quoted 700 which was basically in line with what my other quote was which was $645. So my suggestion is get some quotes beforehand and let him know what prices you found! more

AAA all the way 5/22/2012

My friend borrowed my car and was in an accident. My car was towed to King Crash from the onset. My insurance company indicated that they have dealt with them in the past and the owner was a good guy. They were right! My car looks better now then before the accident. The staff and the owner, Dave were all amazing. The kept the promises they made and my car is back as if nothing happened. I have reccomended the shop to friends who are just as satisfied. I read the prior posted review and obviously some folk don't realize a deductible is all part of the process and can't be waived unless you want that much less work done. Don't think twice about this place.... my experience was AWESOME! more

Worst Experience I've Ever Had 2/25/2012

My car was involved in an accident locally. It was towed by NAR Towing which is owned by King Crash. At the scene of the accident, I requested to go to my auto-body shop of preference. The owner Dave convinced me to bring it to King Crash telling me that I wouldn't have to pay my insurance deductible. So I decided to give King Crash a chance. When the car was finished I went to pick it up. It looked absolutely terrible. I brought it to the body shop I wanted to go to in the first place to have them look it over. Instead of replacing parts they were supposed to, they repaired them. They filled up the fender with bondo instead of replacing it and the paint matched horribly. They painted over my moldings that were not supposed to be painted and got paint on the glass. I had to pay my preferred shop out of pocket to fix the car right. NEVER let this con man fix your car ! DAVE IS FILTH more

At your own risk 10/29/2011

I can tell you this place does shoddy work. The shop is run more like a Maaco than a reputable repair shop that you would trust to repair your new car. They cut corners to get the job done with minimal man hours and supply costs. There is a much better body shop & paint in Ramsey- Ramsey Auto Body, Rt. 17 South. more

NAR + KING TRASH = AWFUL 7/29/2011

King Trash are the biggest butchers in the region... the only place you will find worse work is in Paterson. If you have the misfortune of your car being brought to this location, you'd better hope it wasn't towed by NAR who further damaged my car and I was held responsible to pay to for it. more

I was hurt on the job and the owner told me it was my problem and that I was never an employee. Nobody should trust Dave with their car or personal safety, because he clearly doesn't care about anyone. more

King Crash Auto is there when you need them!! 8/5/2009

I have had an excellent experience with King Crash. I've used them twice, (unfortunately, as every reviewer says), and they are helpful, friendly. I had my car broken into and went to their location with no cell phone and they let me use their phone for several calls. They helped me with the rental car and recommended Hertz, who by the way, comes to the location and delivers your car. I had a small scrape that was caused by me and asked them to fix it and charge me separately from the insurance and they said they could get 60% of the damage out for free, which I so appreciated. The bonus was that I could get my car inspected at McPeeks at the same time. more

I wish I didn't know them 1/29/2008

I wish I could say that I've never needed their services but that is not the case. King Crash prices their work very fairly and is usually the best price you will find. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the work they do is very good. My car looked like new when I picked it up. more

King Crash 7/19/2005

Having had my fair share of collisions (none my fault, honestly!) I've become a pretty regualr customer at King Crash. My son recommended them and he's a real car nut. They've given fair estimates for insurance purposes, they've taken care of me in a timely fashion. They do body work, collision (of course, my specialty), inspections, towing (me again), painting (my son) and emergency services. They are licensed and insured. They are in a really tight location parking wise, but we manage. PROS: Good service CONS: Tough parking more
