Kindred Hospital St. Louis

My experience at Kindred Hospital has been awesome. The Service has always been great. The occupational and physical therapy teams have constantly helped me push myself physically. The nurses were always very kind and helpful. The general atmosphere I experienced was that of a close knit family. The staff even provided me with games, an Xbox and a TV to help me pass the time during my stay. I’d especially like to give a big thanks to Nick, from OT, and Alex, the Patient Advocate, for always going above and beyond in pushing me and connecting me with my family. Thank you Kindred, you’ve been great! I highly recommend the hospital! more

I had a great experience with Kindred Hospital. Everyone of my nurses were awesome. My physical, occupational, and speech therapists were really good as well. I’m especially grateful for people like Deanna, Carol, and Nick. Deanna was a sweet heart the entire time, and was the only person who made me feel normal. Furthermore, Nick was very sensitive and understanding when I had a mental breakdown during an occupational therapy session. They have a great team at Kindred, whom I really considered more of an extended family. Thank you for all you’ve done Kindred! Your efforts are highly appreciated, and I’d certainly recommend them to the surrounding community! more

Kindred Hospital is a nice facility. Everyone was very good to me. I loved dealing with my nurses, occupational therapists, and more. I am especiallly appreciative of the services I received from Jill with wound care. She was very sweet and helpful throughout my stay. She shall surely be missed. Thank you, Kindred! My experience with Kindred Hospital has been good. I really appreciate the services provided to my son. The staff were very pleasant, nice, and caring. I was also very pleased to be able to FaceTime my son, given the current status of national quarantine. This accommodation was priceless. I also want to give a special thanks to Bonnie, Laney, and Novie. I became very well acquainted with them during my son’s stay. They were awesome in every interaction, and I’m very comfortable knowing that my son is being cared for by these excellent women. Thank you very much, Kindred! You have been great! good judge because I used to be a nurse, myself, for decades. Every last one of the housekeeping staff did an excellent job keeping my room spick and span. The CNAs did an excellent job. I had no problems with the nursing staff either. The occupational therapy and respiratory teams, in particular, “Knocked it out of the park”. They are very progressive in what they do here, and they certainly pushed me everyday to work and improve quickly. I was very impressed. Nick, especially, was a very nice, young man, and a pleasure to work with. Overall, I had a very pleasant and excellent experience. I would certainly recommend Kindred Hospital to anyone. The services I received at Kindred Hospital were great! They have really good nurses, who constantly displayed great patience. The therapy I received was excellent, very helpful, and valuable. They gave me various tools to improve upon my strength and mobility. They were very specific and informative in their treatment plan, and they were very adamant when keeping me on task. The cleaning staff did an excellent job as well. Not a day went by when my room wasn’t kept smelling good and in good shape. Kindred Hospital is a wonderful facility, and I highly recommend it to those in need! more

The service at Kindred Hospital has been very good. Everyone here has been very nice to me. All the nurses saw to my every need with nothing but kindness in their hearts and no complaints. Furthermore, the cleaning staff here are some real workers. My room’s been kept sparkling clean and orderly throughout my entire stay. I’m quite pleased with the service and staff at Kindred Hospital. I initially had one concern during one of my first visits at the Hospital. However, this issue was immediately tended to and sorted out after I informed Alex of my concerns. I really appreciate the care, attention to detail, and immediate rectification efforts of Alex, Kevin, and Eutoria. I am also very thankful for the CNA, Queeny. She is a hell of a nursing assistant, and I really liked her. She’s a natural. She spoke to my sister as if she were totally conscious. You can tell that she really loves what she’s doing, and it gave me considerable peace of mind knowing that she would be caring for my sister. Kindred is an awesome hospital with awesome people, and I believe it certainly merits a visit from those in need of medical assistance. more

They do a very good job at Kindred Hospital. Everyone was very nice and courteous; from the doctors and rehab staff to the nurses. Everyone kept me informed of my progress/condition throughout my stay. Kindred is certainly a high quality hospital, and I recommend their services to those in need. more

I had nothing but good experiences at Kindred Hospital. I had no issues throughout my stay. Everyone was on point and treated me well. Furthermore, the nurses answered the call light almost immediately after I pressed it, every time. This experience was a “Breath of fresh air” considering my experiences with bigger hospitals. Despite my circumstances, I enjoyed my time at Kindred Hospital. Everyone was nice and professional. The staff at Kindred informed me of their plan of action throughout my husband’s stay, and they fulfilled every promise. The respiratory team weened my husband off of his ventilator and trache in a very speedy fashion, and they did a fantastic job in doing so! I’d specifically like to thank Alex, the patient advocate, who was very helpful, and had a beautiful personality. Kindred Hospital is a great facility, and I think that anyone in medical need would be lucky to lay their head there. more

Everything at Kindred Hospital was great. All the nursing staff treated me very well. Any concerns I had initially were immediately addressed and rectified. I greatly appreciate the genuine care and efficiency kindred’s staff exemplified in doing so. I’d also like to express my appreciation for the several staff that I feel went above and beyond the call of duty. Quinn was very sweet and accommodating throughout my stay. Kindred Hospital is a very good facility. The nurses were constantly on their job. I was constantly treated with loving kindness. I also thought it was really cool that I received a get well card from a local grade school student due to Kindred’s involvement and service outside of the hospital walls. It really shows just how much Kindred cares about everyone they come in contact with. Whenever I finally get back on my feet, Kindred Hospital is the first place I’ll return to, to give a big thanks to the staff. more

Kindred Hospital is a wonderful hospital! When my husband first came to Kindred, he was on the ventilator, unable to talk, unable to walk, and often deeply confused. As of today, he’s been weened off of the ventilator and had his trache removed, thanks to the respiratory team. His mind is totally clear. He’s back up and walking around due to the hard work of the occupational and physical therapy teams. I’m overjoyed with his progress. Furthermore, so many of the staff went above and beyond to assist my husband, myself, and our family. I really appreciated Dajuan from respiratory, because he was very patient and attentive when answering the numerous questions my daughter and I had. Corey in security exceeded expectations on several occasions. He walked me to the door and watched me get to my car every night when I left. He also notified me of my flat tire and provided me instructions on where to fill it up one evening. I love Pete, the Nursing Supervisor, because he always provided us with great assistance; even if he was on break. I really appreciate Kevin, the Night Supervisor, because he provided me with considerable peace of mind by always notifiying me if there was a change of status in my husband’s condition over night. Furthermore, my husband wanted to compliment the food service staff, for he feels that Kindred provided him with the best room service he’s ever had. He also wanted to compliment the cook especially, for his gourmet level cuisine. We are very pleased with every aspect of the service provided at Kindred Hospital, and we certainly recommend it to those in need exceptional medical care. Thank you! more

We had a great experience at Kindred Hospital. It was a wonderful place with great nurses, security guards, medical staff, receptionists, and therapists. Everyone is very friendly. I especially enjoyed Natasha, George and several others, because they made me feel like family throughout my stay. I feel so lucky that we found this place, and I highly recommend them to anyone in a dire healthy situation such as ours. more

I was treated with utmost respect from the day I got to Kindred. I was scared and didn’t want to leave my daughter, but everyone made me feel great. All the departments showed me so much love, from the kitchen to respiratory staff, who weren’t even obligated to treat me. This shows they actually care about all the patients despite their department. I was headed downhill before I got to Kindred, and they really saved me. So, thank you, Kindred! Anyone thinking about where to go or send their family definitely won’t regret choosing Kindred Hospital! more
