caring people 9/17/2017

I have been through a lot in my medical adventure. I am older and in the last several months I have needed dialysis. When I first got here I was not sure what I wanted, so this place helped me with moving forward and trying to get better. The harder I work, the more I realize I am exhausted and I just wanted to be comfortable and well taken care of. Once I knew this was my goal, everyone stepped up to help me and respected my decision. Since this place is not a hospice I will be going there soon. Thank you for the help more

Nice Staff Team 8/31/2017

The team here has been great and so hospitable. Everyone takes such great care of me including the nurses, the techs, and the therapists. They also treat my husband with respect. I am glad I could come here to get the antibiotics since I could not get them anywhere else or if I could it would have been too expensive for me to manage. It makes me feel like I'm at the right place at the right time. Ang more

Happy with the care 8/30/2017

I get a lot of care from the nurses and they are all fine with me. I see the doctors everyday and they a pretty good job managing my care, I just wish they could spend more time talking to me. But I know they would if they could. The rehab team is good and they helped me get back to eating the types of foods I like, get stronger, and work towards getting better to go home. They also act as mediators between me and my doctors when my gout acts up. I'm ready to go to the rehab facility now so I can continue my progress! Ed more

Feeling good! 8/29/2017

I came in here so sick. I was on a breathing machine and I needed every bit of help the staff could give me. I could not do anything on my own, nothing! Since being here I can walk, talk, eat, dance, I can do it all! They got me off of the breathing machine, got me walking, and now I am even eating! I do not need to have a feeding tube anymore. Today I'm going home and I am so happy! My family and I are so happy that this place helped me out. more

Blessed 8/27/2017

I feel blessed to be here. The staff treat me nice and really they treat me just like family. When my real family come to visit they accommodate all of them just like they are their own. My doctors get the chance to follow me very closely here visiting me every day to take a look at my wounds, my infections, and my labs. I know I will be ready for the next step once I leave here. more

I give it a 5 out of 5. They did everything they said they would including wound care, antibiotics, pain management, and physical therapy. No complaints. more

New Beginnings 8/2/2017

They have encouraged me here to walk and to get out of bed so I do not stay in bed all the time. The therapists are good and help me exercise my legs and arms. I am much stronger and I am so happy. Katie's a little angel, she has something about her wits. Ryan is very nice and I have loved working with him. All the other services were good too. The breathing treatments were nice and always in time. The nurses are wonderful. The doctors are pretty good. I just hope they let me go home from here. I am so homesick. I'll probably have more home care to get stronger and to continue to build up my body so I am safe in my home. When I go home, I'm treat myself to a chocolate milkshake from mcdonalds because I have done so well here. I know the case manager is trying to make this happen for me to go home. For this place, I give it five stars! Kathy W. more

They are good here 7/31/2017

I am so happy to be here. I spent 5 weeks laying in a bed at Oak Hill Hospital and I never had a chance to try to get up and feel better. As soon as I got here the therapists were so wonderful. They got me up and got me walking and taking care of myself. I am already walking a good distance and stronger and I have only been here not even a week. Katie and Ryan are really really good. I appreciate how great they are. Carlos from respiratory therapy is also very good. The respiratory people take great care of me and make me feel like they have time for me. I am happy because the doctors told me this morning that I am well enough to go home now. This is a good place. Kathy more

My review 7/23/2017

I'm a person of few words. But this place is giving me what I need in the way I need it. I need good wound care and antibiotics that the other hospitals refused to give me because of the time period I needed to stay. So it was here or go home and probably not get what I needed. I am glad they are here in Ocala. So close to my home. more

Satisfied with care 7/17/2017

I do not have any complaints or regrets about my stay here. I was satisfied with all my care, they all gave a valiant effort. Katie and Ryan were nice and really gave me the type of attention I needed to make progress at my own pace. All the nurses were nice too. I will miss Michelle and Maurice. Gracie, Donna and Omar were also some of my favorites and I can say I feel like they are my friends. I am happy to be moving closer to my home today and get more rehab in hopes of getting back to the Assisted Living place. S.R. more

Patience is a blessing 7/16/2017

The patience that the people I came across here have is a blessing for me. I needed time, encouragement, and I needed to have a little personal space. They helped me with all of that. My legs are better and now I'm at rehab. I will go home soon and I am happy that Kindred could help me again. more

Good nice people 6/29/2017

Everyone was nice here. I was directly admitted from home to get antibiotics and wound care, but I got a lot more services that I did not realize I needed. The transition from home to here was easy and they were helpful with making sure my family was able to visit. Thank you for everyone's help. Luis more

I'm going to miss these people 6/26/2017

Everyone here has been so kind, so helpful, and just so positive towards me. It has been really nice with all that I have gone through. Of course, there are a few not so great ones, but you have that anywhere, the good ones make up for it and then some. The nurses, respiratory, and rehab people are great, and I can tell I am getting better everyday. Marlene more

Great Hospital Staff Team 6/22/2017

I have spent several months in the hospital. I got everything I needed: wound care, medicine, rehab, and much care. If I had to say what made my stay worth it would be how caring the staff at Kindred Ocala. They all was caring, patient with me and cheerful. This was a great Hospital more

Best place for good care when you have medical instability 6/7/2017

My husband came here with breathing and heart issues requiring very close monitoring. Since admission here he is much more stable and is getting stronger. His doctors are great and they check-up on him everyday. The nurses and respiratory people are very good and make both me and my husband at home. We are happy to be transitioning out of here to go to a rehab, but will be sad to leave this safe place with such nice people. Mr. &mMrs. F. more

Glad I came here 6/6/2017

I am so glad I came here to get better. I went through a lot and went from hospital to hospital fighting bad infections. Before I came here I was in Tampa hospital, but I wanted to be closer to home so I could see my son. Being here I was able to breath on my own and get off the respirator, learn to walk and get stronger, and start eating. I think this place is good. Linda H. more

I am so thankful for everyone here at Kindred I cannot even say how much I am thankful! My family was able to visit and everyone treated me and my family so nice. I got so much better while I was here and now I am breathing on my own and my trach is gone. I can't wait to get well enough to go home so I can see my kitty, Mr. Missy. Thank you everybody! more

Right place, right time 5/16/2017

We came to the right place at the right time. I have spent literally two months to the day in the hospital and my healing really started when I came here. I got everything I needed: wound care, antibiotics, rehabilitation, nutrition, you name it! I really did develop a sense of trust and care with these people. They are like some new family members now. If I had to say what made this stay worth it, I would say the people. If you have a hospital but no people, you have nothing. But these people made this hospital the best. I will come back soon, but only to visit! more

Alright so far 4/30/2017

I came over here from the villages and so far everything is good and going alright. The people seem really nice and I have an okay room without a roommate so that is good. It is close enough that my wife can visit everyday and we just feel comfortable here. more

They did what they said 4/30/2017

I came here for a few days of medicine cause that is what my doctors said I needed and that is what I got. So they did what they said they would. They people were nice and I appreciate their help. Now I'm home with my husband and I am happy. more
