I was needing antibiotic and the nursing home i live was not able to give it to me. I was here almost 30 days. I appreciate all they did for me. I also received dialysis here. Thank you to all the staff and Iris my nurse. more

My mother has been here for 3 weeks now . She came from a local nursing home with bad wounds and dehydration . Kindred hospital has done such a good job with her. She is very stubborn and does not get along well with others o it’s hard to get her to like people. But We have not had that problem here she likes her nurses she likes that they take there time to talk to her and she doesn’t feel like she’s just another patient they genuinely care for her. It’s been a good experience so far . more

My wife and I where recommended this hospital by a friend we didn’t even know this kind of hospital even existed . I was here 30 days beacouse I had surgery on my stomach and had complication with my wound healing. This hospital gives you more time then a regular hospital I received excellent wound care almost everyday sometime 2 times a day . I was able to complete my antibiotic here . The best nurses I had was Dallas and Ana they are just sweet hearts . more

I was admitted to this hospital because our attending Doctor in ocala regional recommend it to my wife . My wife came for a tour and loved it . All the rooms are private rooms the nurse to patient ratio is reasonable. There is always someone in the nurses station so you don't have to wait a long time when you press the call button. The nurse practitioner is really nice she explains everything to you. We absolutely recommended it. more

Kindred hospital 2/21/2023

My husband came to this hospital so he can try to go home without oxygen . We are now on 10 liters oxygen we need 4 liters to go home he is doing so good we started at 15 liters so being now at 10 is amazing. He does get tired a lot when he works out with therapy but he is trashing and doing his best. more

My mother was here for rehab. She did get a lot of help. And now she qualifies to go to an intensive rehab . She lives alone so she needs more therapy. more

I was here 4 weeks or so I have a wound on my foot with an infection I needed wound care and complete my antibiotic Advenr hospital recommended this hospital to me and told me they will help me walk with rehab and finish my meds. I was actually impressed on the quality of care I got. It a nice quite hospital not a lot noise it’s really what I needed and really like the fact that it’s 1 patient per room . more

I came here because my neighbor had come here and recommend me to come here. I do not regret it .the care I received was the best I have gotten from any hospital. The communication was on point I saw the doctor everyday although it was for a short minute . more

The hospital was ok I really did not enjoy there meals they had me on a strict diet food was terrible. I came to kindred because I was on 10 liters of oxygen . Now am ready to go home on just 2 liters . more

My mother was in this hospital for 20 days . It was a pleasant hospital stay. She was admitted with respiratory failure she was 10 liters oxygen and needed to be lower so she can go home . She is now on 3 liters and doing great . more

Kindred hospital was a good choice for me . I needed to complete my antibiotic I was on 3 different kinds and the nursing home was not able to take me. I finished my medication and was then sent home. The food is not the best however I did order a lot of Uber eats and someone will bring it up for . more

I been here a few times in the last 5 years this hospital has been in Ocala for over 15 years and just recently in the past few years I started coming here. It’s a good facility a step down from the regular hospital. They help you with rehab and antibiotic . more

Kindred hospital was a choice for me it was recommended by my prior hospital case manager. I came because I had a bad infection in my blood and a hard time breathing and was in a lot of oxygen . I had an accident at home . This hospital was great it helped me clear up my infection and I am now off the oxygen. more

Our mother came to this hospital it was recommended by our primary doctor. Our mom was on a lot of iv antibiotic and having trouble breathing . This hospital was able to give her the antibiotic she needed and finished them and also they help her with lowering the high oxygen she was now she is going to inpatient rehab in town for more rehab . It was a good experience for us . more

I was in this hospital for wound care and finish my antibiotic . I was here for almost 30 days . The rehab department was good she helped me a lot and helped me walk . The doctor would come everyday really early . The food was good but sometimes it was not enough kinda seemed like kids portion . The nurses was always polite and explained to me what each medication was for the nurse Anna she is a Spanish nurse she was always my favorite she always gave me snacks . more

I was at kindred for almost a month I have really bad wound on feet . They did a great job with the wound care . I had a really bad infection .. The nurses are really great. more

I totally recommend this hospital. The respiratory therapist and pulmonary NP is great she explains everything to you . It’s great to be able to really fully understand my treatment most places either brush you off and say nothing or don’t even bother explaining what’s wrong and others just use words that only a healthcare worker would understand. more

I was here for almost 2 weeks I came for respiratory problems and was not able to come off of it however I am following up with the pulmonary team. The nurse practitioner Dee Dee is so amazing and informative she takes the time to explain to you in simple form the course of treatment and does not use big words . Everyone was very kind and took good care of me . I am just sad that I have to be dependent on oxygen for the rest of my life because of my diagnosis it’s no one fault it’s just frustrating but they did a great job trying to help me get off of it but my body didn’t tolerate it . more
