I highly recommend Kindred Hospital Mansfield. My daughter was admitted to Kindred Mansfield after a two week stay in a local ICU on a vent due to aspiration pneumonia. Her prognosis was guarded. After transferring to Kindred Mansfield, she started to improve. Thanks to the excellent medical care combined with a compassionate staff, my daughter made great progress. The nursing and respiratory therapy staff helped to stabilize and improve her medical condition. The therapy staff facilitated improvement in her strength and mobility. Everyone showed genuine concern for her well being. If your loved one ever needs extended medical care at a transitional care hospital, Kindred Hospital Mansfield is the place to go! My mother was admitted to Kindred as an extension of care from a major hospital. She needed additional care due to injuries sustained in a fall. The nurses and techs at Kindred were amazing. Great positive energy and attentiveness propelled my mother to a quicker recovery than anyone expected. Office and rehab staff were also very encouraging, knowledgeable and friendly. Management at the facility was very much involved with her care as well and we truly felt the concern about my mother was genuine from everyone. When considering acute care, Kindred Mansfield is second to none. Just sayin! more

I live in Los Angeles and came to Texas to visit my Mother at Kindred Hospital. When I arrived Mom had been in bed for approximately one month. She was angry and unwilling to help herself. The rehab dept. showed much patience and kept a caring attitude while Mom did all she could to not cooperate. The wonderful staff through out the hospital just moved forward with smiles everyday. Eventually, all the good energy in rehab and the hospital caused Mom to start to help herself.............Imagine that! I am very please with the care my Mother received while staying several weeks at Kindred Mansfield. The nurses are very knowledgeable and attentive to Mom and her roommate. All departments where wonderful and knew their jobs well. The management team where very concerned and on top of making sure mom’s stay went smoothly. Yes, the management team are very involved with all of the aspects of care here. I was very impressed and if my mother needs this care again, she’ll return. Bottom line too is that Mom “liked it here”.\r My Mother has just receive another 3 week stay at this Kindred. This has been for Mom and I the best long term hospital experience she's ever received! (Both stays that is.) The doctors actually studied her long list of reactions to MANY meds and made all adjustments necessary that actually saved Mom's life. I cannot begin to express the gratitude that I have for the Staff of Kindred Hospital at Mansfield Texas. The quality care that was given to my mother while she was there was not only all that could be expected but far beyond that. But I was most impressed by the genuine concern that they demonstrated not only for our mother, but for the whole family. They went over and above in every area to keep us comfortable and informed while we were there and to keep us abreast of her treatment and condition when we could not be. I can honestly say that we felt the genuine concern and compassion from the administrators, every doctor involved, and each and every nurse in I.C.U. I found Kindred Hospital to be everything I would hope for a Hospital to be, and more. more

In watching channel 11 news @ 10:00pm. I saw the story about one of your employees that was confronted about hanging her American flag in her work area. The news channel reported that someone from another country was offended. They came here to live from another country which we welcome people from other countries. How could they be offeneded by our flag, and why are you taking their side? You are a disgrace to our country, Texas and the city of Mansfield. more
