Hi, I was interested in modeling in the 90's, so I gave Kim a chance, yes I had to take some classes that I had to pay for, but I easily recuperated that money from the commercials that I did. The Agency was honest, straight forward and knew what they were doing. I have not been in contact with Agency in over 15 years or so, but my time with them is some that I'll remember fondly forever! The only thing I can tell young people and their parents is to check out the reputable agents in Seattle (they all know each other.) There are also 2 or 3 casting directors here in town that can refer you to legit agents. Also, please visit the local sag-aftra office online or give them a call. Information is power - check around and dont fall for Kim Brooke. more

How many talent agents here in seattle will charge you $2000 for "classes?" Big Fish, Colleen Bell or TCM? Fake reviews will not save Kim Brooke. KBG is a disgrace. more

No legitimate agent or casting director in town will endorse Kim Brooke. A real agent will not ask you for money - a real agent will not sell you "photography services." A real agent has a good reputation among professionals in the industry. Kim Brooke is not a real agent, Kim Brooke is a scam that preys on new and inexperienced talent. more

My experience with the Kim Brooke was positive from the very first day. Both my son and I loved them, and they were all great with him. They are all very knowledgeable of the industry. They are honest and give you a very real expectation, and they don't make promises they cannot keep! I have been signed with Kim for less than a year and my son has already had multiple auditions, and we just finished filming a nationally televised commercial that my son was booked for. Kim was amazing, and helped me through it all! She is always very prompt to respond, and was a huge support to me. From Casting Directors to Advertising Agencies - they will tell you Kim Brooke has been around a long time and she is very respected and her people are of extreme quality. I know because I use her agency all the time more

We tried out Kim's agency for a year and found it worthless. She sure talks a good talk, but you don't learn much until you pay your money and sign your kid up. I wonder how many people she actually turns away (my guess is she'll tell you "lots of people".) Kim gets paid by a group of talent, and then by taking a cut of the photographer's fees and the photos she makes people buy. Once you are invited to join the agency, you, or the parents of the child, are invited to an informational meeting. I went about my child and learned that we'd be lucky to get one job (which could be a print add or something paying about $150), not to call Kim because she is so busy making money.. and the guise is it's for you, and not to blame her if the jobs just don't come through. She is a good actress! Remember that. I am sure some people get jobs through her. Most people will not. I'm guessing 10% of the people who go to her agency actually make anything above $1K..ever. Any you pay about $500 for the initial start up. Yes, everyone online who is in the business says never pay anyone to represent you...Kim might try to tell you she gets no money out of the photos... I'm warning people because I took time out of my life and my child's life to invest in a scam.. Kim Brooke's agency. It wasn't just the photographs, but the time to go in and the emotional investment. Perhaps you buy a lot of lottery tickets.. you have a better chance at that. more

This place is a scam. Don't believe a word they say. No reputable agency will require you to enroll in THEIR training program. Yes training is very important but when and where you get that training is completely up to you. Also, 95% of the positive reviews for this company are being written by either KBG employees, friends, or extremely naive and inexperienced talent. Before you get suckered into signing with this agency, check with someone established in the industry and get their opinion. Any reputable acting instructor will do - don't walk away from the Kim Brookes Group - RUN!!! more

Kim Brooke Group is the place to be if you want to be a true professional, working actor or model. Many years ago I worked for the Bobby Ball Talent Agency and Academy. I wore many hats, took all of her training and was sent out on auditions and got work. One of my jobs was to interview people to teach them the proper direction to become an actor or a model. I did runway and print ads for Revlon and many other companies. Bobbys agency at that time was number one in the Southwest. She made Linda Carter Wonder Woman, Nick Nolte and many others. She demanded that each person she sent on auditions was an absolute professional. You had to complete every one of her acting and modeling courses and then she would send you out on auditions. The agent's name is associated with you and if an agent sends out a talent who doesn't know enough, they won't use you or her the next time they have a job. It amazes me the people who think that they can just show up and be an actor or a model. If you have a theater background you need to be retrained to be in the focus of a camera lens not a big stage. You cant get a job in any other profession without training. Acting is a serious career. At Kim Brooke you will learn the way to walk and talk for the camera, honing your talent, what to wear, whats your look, how to be a serious in-depth actor and model, delivering commercials, how to be great at script reading and most importantly how to audition and get the job. Youll become a true professional that Kim can represent and send to her clients with confidence that you can get the part and be someone that we see on television, on a billboard or in the movies. Ive now completed all of Kims classes I found them to be completely what I needed to polish up the rough edges and be prepared.
