If you are a parent who is able to communicate well with your child and the school staff, this is an excellent school. Parenting means also working with your child and the school. Not every child learns the same or has the same circumstances. We had a rough start to the school year and then the staff really assisted our family. The kids at the school are great. Excellent music and physical education programs. Front office staff is amazing. Vice Principal James Crawford is outstanding. No school is perfect. It takes work from everyone involved. Teachers have a lot of work and as parents we need to support them and encourage our children to respect the teachers. You get what you give! more

Horrible Teachers! 3/21/2011

I am so appalled by my child's teachers at Kilo I have pulled him out of school and enrolled him into another school out of district. The teachers here do not know how to encourage children, use unethical practices, I have wondered many times if all the under-preforming teachers get sent to Kilo as punishment. Our poor children are the ones who pay the price and unfortunately most people cannot afford to send their children to private school and don't have the option to transfer them. Bottom Line: If your expectations of your child are for them to have a career at Burger King, Kilo is a great place for them. Should you want them to excel and maybe even go to College, get the the hell out there! more
