Funny all of a sudden there are rave reviews!! Terrible experience with change of employees 4/30/2012

I was a regular customer of Kibby for 7 years. It was an inexpensive place to have my dogs groomed. Last fall the regular groomers vanished and a new groomer appeared. They took my appointment and did not telling me that the regular groomer was no longer there. My dogs ran from the kennel as fast as they could after the first time they were groomed by the new groomer. The 2nd time, they both trembled with fear as I took them in the door. I should have known something was up with their sudden fear. When I got my dogs home and my 11 year old started to cough and was choking. I took him to the vet and the vet felt the groomer had sprained my dogs back from being flipped around while being groomed and his throat was damaged from the grooming collar they used. NEVER AGAIN will I go in or recommend them. I wish I could find where the previous groomers went. (They won't say...) I would follow them in a heartbeat. Amazing how there are all of a sudden rave reviews for this place. maybe the new groomer writing her own??? I think so.... Stay away from here if you like your dog!!! more

Always caring and efficient 5/26/2011

We have boarded our dog's at Kibby's Kennels several times. It is hard to leave our dogs behind, but Kibby's had a nice facility, and I think they took good care of our dogs. You can tell when people genuinely love animals, and I got this impression while at Kibby's Kennels. I would feel comfortable about recommending them. more

Staff treats your pets great! 3/7/2011

I drop my dog off once a year at Kibbys when I leave on vacation. They have great kennels and really take care of your pet while you are gone. The staff treats your pet as if it was there own. My only issue is trying to get my dog to come home with me when I get back and pick her up. That is not a complaint as it makes me feel good that she has a good time when I am gone. Give them a try. more

Very Happy 3/3/2011

I was recommended by my vet to use Kibby's Kennels for dog grooming. My Shitzu is a 12 year old male with an attitude. I have had two other groomers call and have me pick him up because they could not groom him. Kibby's had no problem and did a great job. I am planning to use them for boarding also. I will write another review about my experience with the boarding. more
