People, these comments are not false! KETCHUP has a lot of work to do if they plan to keep their spot on NH's boardwalk. Maybe I should've done a more thorough search of dining reviews because I missed the "1 Star" and "Poor" ratings. I would NOT recommend! It was even more embarassing to have gone there on a date. more

Save your Money, Go to Friday's 4/11/2010

This may be the worst restaurant in the DC area. I don't really have one goos thing to say about this restaurant. First we had to wait for a half hour because they didnt have enough staff on. Half the restaruant was empty while we waited. Once seated, we were handed menus that were badly worn and very sticky. After reading the menu I wondered if they had. On the same menu they touted both local, seasonal fall and winter vegetables. How can you have both, in season, in the SPRING. The selections mostly southern /american fare and nearly everything is fried. I wish I could write more but bottom line: Poor concept, Poor service and awful food. Basically it was overpriced, poorly run TGI Fridays. more

Very Disappointed 3/21/2010

My Husband and I went here on a date. We were VERY disappointed. We noticed while walking by the restuarant that there were many available tables, however it was a 35 minute wait? After waiting more than 35 minutes, we were escorted to our table only to find out that they were out of half of the items on the menu. This was disappointing since the menu had very few items to begin with. I ordered the $21 dollar steak and my Husband ordered the $18 dollar hamburger. The food was under cooked. I asked for a well done steak and got something that was still breathing. The drinks were watery and the customer service was horrible. If I could give this resturant a 0 rating I would. Save your money. more

I have been to Ketchup about 10 times and enjoyed it every time. Everyone has their own taste, but I dont think you will find a better crab cake anywhere. I live in Maryland, so I know. more

I only give it 1 star because 0 isn't an option. It was so bad--service, food, everything--we didn't even request to see a manager because it was obvious no one would care. If National Harbor is a diamond in the rough, Ketchup is the part that needs buffed out. PLEASE don't go there!!! more

Not Good 1/11/2010

My son and I wanted to check this place out and we will not be back. The wait staff is very young with little experience so bad service. Prices are not low and the automatically add in 15% tip to the total.The food was tasteless. Really bad in every aspect. My corn showder soup was so thick that it stuck to the spoon. more

Bad in Every Aspect 1/3/2010

The hostess/waiters all seemed bored or angry, when you could catch their eye (seldom). Perplexing multiple little pots of ketchup (should we eat them with a spoon)? Worst of all, the food was really not good - all 7 entrees looked ugly and tasted like nothing (and were barely warm). Plus, it's expensive! Won't go back. more
