Ketch Seafood Grill

Took my mom and dad out for Mothers' Day -- and utterly failed to provide them with a nice experience. My dad and I were asked to re-order our food because they were ""out"" of our orginal order. And my mom wanted a combination of items not on the menu... I offered to pay extra, to order separate things a la carte, whatever was needed to give her the meal she wanted on Mothers' Day. They said okay... but then when the food came out it wasn't what she ordere. They refused to fix it, manager refused to even speak to us. Horrible horrible experience. Pros: Food wasn't bad Cons: Staff were completely rude and inept more

You won't get the best seafood here but you will get good seafood, friendly service and reasonable prices. A lot of locals come here regularly to dine. The menu has a nice variety. more

Since I hate what Dead Lobster does to seafood, I wanted to try a local, indie place for crab & shrimp. The Ketch was unfortunately, a disappointment. My peel-n-eat shrimp were overcooked & suffered from sitting in the fridge too long (order them warm if you do), my salad below-pedestrian. The seafood bucket was passable only because they hardly did anything to it besides boiling in Old Bay. The marinara sauce for my fried calamari was nasty, tasted like ketchup mixed w/ dishwater & grease. The unattentive server took it back & brought out another container of the same. Never thought I'd miss Joe's Crab Shack. Pros: Seafood, if you get it, make sure it's done simply Cons: eh service, cheap decor, iffy quality of ingredients more
