I heart Kerbey. 10/8/2005

This place is the best 24 hr resturant ever. I loved being able to go there at 3am to get a veggie burger or the green enchiladas. IHOP wasn't much for vegetarian (or healthy for that matter) options, so I've always gone here instead. Their queso is magic. They should put it in a jar and sell it. Oh wait, they do! It's an integral part of the Weird spirit that is Austin. more

This place is wonderful. its the best place to eat when u are up late hanging out with friends. their pancakes are good... i typically get the gingerbread ones, but i heard that the blueberry one is just as good. my favorite thing they have is their kerbey queso which is REALLY good. its not too expensive and its a nice sit down place. its a very "austiny" place to eat. more

When you can't go to IHOP... 8/7/2005

...Eat at Kerbey Lane. It's open 24hrs. I'm referring to the location near 27th and Guadalupe. I go here for breakfast items. I'm a big fan of their pancakes. If you're going to get anything, get their pancakes. I'm not big on queso, but many people like it as well. The late night crowd and servers are a bit funky. Many people Thursday night - Sunday early AM to recover from partying. Service is slow and the food is so-so during these times. I sometimes will come by around 7am for a regular breakfast. Service is very warm and friendly during these times. Food is fresh, hot and delicious. more

Yummy! 8/6/2005

The pancakes, queso, home fries.....I have yet to eat anything in this place that doesnt make my tummy happy. A great place to meet up with friends and/or take a study break. I have eaten at this place at all times of day: 8am, 11am, 3pm, 8pm, 3am. Always good food no matter which one you go to. The one up on 183 tends to be not as crowded as the one by campus. I couldnt begin to tell you how many times my friends and I have gorged ourselves on queso. Their tortilla soup is really great for the winter time. A definate local favorite that must be experienced. The service tends to be hit and miss, but oh well. It never stopped me from going back. more
