Kennels of Springdale LLC

Our dogs love Kennels of Springdale so much that they nearly jump out of the car window as we approach. Before these two we had two other dogs who equally loved "Camp" as we refer to it at our house. We can truly relax and not worry about anything while we are away. more

Our dogs, Buddy and Sadie are so happy at Springdale. They are excited when we drive in and are happy when picked up. They get lots of outdoor playtime and come home tired. Staff seem to genuinely care about the dogs. more

I was such a fan of Kennels of Springdale for several years. I felt my dogs were in good care when I had to be apart from them. Unfortunately, a tragedy changed my feelings. One of my dogs lost an eye while in the care of the staff at Kennels of Springdale. I was not given details of the accident - just contacted by phone and informed that my little 2 year old dog had been taken to my Veterinarian. After almost 6 weeks and an enormous expense, my dog's eye had to be removed. Not once during the trauma of her pain and my heartache was I contacted by Kennels of Springdale, which I find very upsetting. I know they are busy but my dogs were regular guests at their establishment and I expected at least one call to see how our little dog was doing. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend them as a boarding Kennel. In the midst of my heartache, I have come across numerous others who have had similar situations. We had a kennel we loved and when the owners retired, they recommended the Kennels of Springdale to us. I was a bit hesitant because it is pretty far from our house but I am so happy we tried it. They treat our dog so well and I feel confident she is in the best hands when we are away. They are also really good about letting you know any concerns or observations about your pet that they think you should be aware of. They can fill up fast over holidays so call far in advance if you want to make sure your pet gets in. more

After our bad experience with another local kennel (see my reviews), I was very nervous about leaving my precious pooch with anyone. But after a recommendation from our vet, we took our dog to Kennels of Springdale. That was a few years ago and they have never let us down. There is lots of room for the dogs to run around, and plenty of staff to play with and care for them. Their prices are more than reasonable and they have always worked with us, even on short notice - such as when my daughter was born and we were at the hosptial for several weeks. Our dog is actually excited when we turn down their driveway and always comes home healthy and happy. more
