I was such a fan of Kennels of Springdale for several years. I felt my dogs were in good care when I had to be apart from them. Unfortunately, a tragedy changed my feelings. One of my dogs lost an eye while in the care of the staff at Kennels of Springdale. I was not given details of the accident - just contacted by phone and informed that my little 2 year old dog had been taken to my Veterinarian. After almost 6 weeks and an enormous expense, my dog's eye had to be removed. Not once during the trauma of her pain and my heartache was I contacted by Kennels of Springdale, which I find very upsetting. I know they are busy but my dogs were regular guests at their establishment and I expected at least one call to see how our little dog was doing. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend them as a boarding Kennel. In the midst of my heartache, I have come across numerous others who have had similar situations.
