I ventured over to Kennedy's the other day for lunch and was surprised on some of the changes that were made to the not-so-long lasting Ed's branch that was formerly here. The inside didn't really have much changed except a new paint job and some minor tweaks to make it more Irish themed. The outside on the other hand boasts a huge deck with a bar which will be nice during the spring-summer and fall months. The only thing that could be a problem is the one entrance/exit driveway and parking situation around the back.
Because there was no one in the restaurant when we had lunch, we ate at the bar. Our waitress/bartender was very friendly and extremely accommodating. I had the chicken sandwich which was a good portion size but didn't have anything special that would make me want to order it again. The onion rings were great and cooked perfectly.
I could definitely see sitting inside on a rainy or the rare snowy day and throwing back a few drinks and getting a decent meal. Being that it's out of my neighborhood, I don't think I'd make a trip there as a late night destination. Otherwise, it's a good place, worth a look.
