Over the years I have needed extensive dental work and have used several dentists. The bottom line with trying this company was the money. They were significantly less than other dentists. I have used Dr. Andrew and Shiela on several occasions and found them to be professional and quite good. I have never felt like I had been ripped off. more

Went there for a tooth to be pulled I am in extreme pain, saw Hargett, He couldnt pull it because i took an alieve tablet the day before. assistant said to use oragel. got my prescription and oragel from walmart, didnt help horrific pain radiating to my jaw all the way to my ear. I called to ask for painkillers just enough until the antibiotics began to work. hargett said no painkillers until tooth was pulled. It didnt make sense to me, he had the xrays, dont they show how bad I am hurting? googled John Hargett and discovered he was a job shirker (delegating his work to assistants{against the law} ) and has been a known drug abuser since 1998, and as late as 2009, and is currently on ordered drug rehab. I called dentures and dental and talked to the office manager Malcolm. requested my 49.00 back, and was refused. I woke up at 3 am this morning in barbaric pain and I am mad as a wet hen. I am not a drug addict, nor have I ever been, I am an older woman in great pain and I will have to suffer thru this somehow because my husband and I are very poor and struggling to just get by right now (2 years ago he had a great job offshore, and we had super insurance. Obama stopped the drilling and he had to get a local job that pays 20 % of what we used to make) . No matter how poor I am I donot wish to see a druggie for a dentist. I made a complaint this morning to the Arkansas state board of dental. I know this wont help me, but maybe it will warn some other suffering soul from going to that place. I am so angry words can not express. Why with all his repeat offenses does this creep have his license still? I also wonder if a search was made in my name to all phamacys in harrison, would a prescription have been filled yesterday for painkillers????? more

It is certainly disappointing to read the few negative reviews that have been posted (and we really appreciate the positive ones!) We make every effort to achieve 100% satisfaction with every patient that we see. However, we do see an average of about 3500 new patients every year, the vast majority of which heard about us through a friend or relative who had been here. As in any business, there's always a handful that, try though we may, we are unable to make happy. And human nature being what it is, most patients or customers who are happy with their experience just go on their way and perhaps, at most, tell someone else about their positive experience. Rarely do they take the time or go to the trouble of writing an internet review. Also, due to privacy laws, we are unable to respond and explain an entire situation. We would just encourage anyone to check us out for yourself. More than likely you will fall into that 99% of our patients who are perfectly happy with the service they have received. more

I almost didn't go after checking them out on the internet but I needed oral surgery and money made a difference. I really needed a tooth pulled and my dentist would not do it he wanted me to go to a oral surgeon. I let the office know I had read not so great reports them so they would be aware. I saw Dr Andrew Scheinbler and his superb assistant Sheila. I was more than pleased. the office staff was great , the Doctor was so good at giving me information in a way I could understand. I saved 100's of $ for sure. I got the best care at an affordable price. The office was modern and clean the equipment up to date. Sheila was the best. I have already reccomended the Dr. to so many people and I am sure I shall return. I am so pleased that I gave them a try. A more than pleased patient. Sandy more

BEWARE these guys...they are dishonest...Dr. Hargett is on probation for drug abuse. THey will tell you lies about what work needs to be done...rip your teeth out before they even say a word to you...The receptionist is defensive and blames you when you express any sort of discontent....These guys are straight up crooks that think that since they are the only game in town they can abuse patients and get away with it. These are the worst dentists I have ever seen. BEWARE and spread the word. Neither of these guys should be allowed to practice dentistry....their techniques are medieval. I have had a lot of dental work done and have had all good dentist up until I went to Dentures and Dental Services and saw Dr. John Hargett. I was told I had to have all of my teeth removed, even the ones I had paid thousands of dollars to have capped so they would not have to be pulled. On the day of extraction he missed one that was broken off at the gum line. I was told I would be given the pain medication of his choice not mine. The day of extractions I was given a script for hydrocodone and went home. After I took my pain pill I got really sick. I am allergic to codine or anything in the family of codine. It took almost a week to get a prescription I could take for pain. I went back to him to have him remove the tooth that he missed and instead he proceeded to cut and trim my jaw bone. He used epinephrin as my local (I am allergic and it does not work on me) and halfway through the proceedure, which I had no idea what he was doing, I was crying because it hurt so bad and he said something to the assistant about asprin and left the room. He would not see me again. The office manager told me Dr. Hargettt refused to see me because I was hysterical. I was crying but not hysterical. I do not recommend this office or Dr. Hargett. I did some research on Dr. Hargett and found he had been put on probation for substance abuse. Please do not go this dentist office. Pros: No pros Cons: Uncaring and disrespectful more

I had the worst experience ever with this office and I have had a lot of work done on my mouth. Dr. John Hargett was my dentist and he was mean and disrespectful of me. Pulled teeth that did not need to be pulled and missed one that was broken off at the gum line. When I came back to have him remove it, he trimmed and cut my jaw bone instead, without telling me what he was doing. When I cried he left the room and would not come back in to see me. That was in the middle of a proceedure he did not tell me he was doing and had given me epinephrin for my local, and I am allergic to it. Please do not go to this dentist.
