Fresh Smell of Bread 10/9/2005

This bakery is located in the very busy plaza of the 99 ranch market on garvey and atlantic. The fresh smell of bread is what lures you in. They offer many Hong Kong pastries. My favorites include the pineapple buns (polo bao), hotdog buns, coconut loaf, and raisin loaf. All their products are baked daily and you'll see this when they push out racks of hot steaming pastries throughout the day. They also offer some cold desserts like cakes as well as savory products like their chicken or pork pies. more

They have the most best eggtarts over here... 10/5/2005

Whenever i stop by Kee wa bakery.. i snatch up a few eggtarts with some other deserts... Always fresh and crowd.. quite pricey but worth the extra cost. They stock up some very tasty deserts and their raisen white bread is the best there ! more

great moon cakes 10/4/2005

Kee wa bakery has it's roots straight from hong kong. Their moon cakes are not oily and taste great. IT comes in various flavors such as coconut and durian. my favorite is the one with coconut and durian in it. Moon cakes are not that expensive about $5 for a box of four in a neatly decorated box. It is ideal for gift giving. more

Specializes in bread and eggtarts 9/17/2005

The eggtarts that KeeWa carries is one of the best. Kee Wa is a traditional HOngKong style bakery. It's also very famous for the mooncakes every year. ALthough it's not specialized in cakes, the wide selection of breads and other goods is KeeWa's logo. go in to KeeWa and try out some of the best eggtarts in town! more

chinese bakery 9/1/2005

this is another chinese bakery staple and has been around in the community for years. it is a bakery from hong kong and they are really known for their mooncakes. while in hong kong it's pretty popular, here it seems to just sell pretty ordinary goods and not as popular among the chinese locals. more

Excellent Bakery with a great price 8/18/2005

I visit Kee Wah bakery almost every week, and I have to spend at least ten or something in that place. Their bakery is the best in town, and there are no competition. They have couple locations now, and made the shopping even easier. about a week ago, i had two bread wasn't fully made. so i called them up, and they gladly give me another two bread. great customer service more

Kee Wa Chinese Bakery 8/16/2005

Stick to the baked goods such as traditional wedding cookies, wedding cakes, which are all reasonable priced. I do not recommend buying things like small appetizers, egg custards, tea cakes, and cha siu bao. These items are nothing special and actually expensive compared to buying them from a restaurant for half the price or less. more

Chinese Delights 8/10/2005

Pineapple Buns. Egg tarts. Whole cakes with delicious fruits decorated on top. This is the first sights as you enter Kee Wa Bakery, but it’s the smell and taste that keep you coming back. Baked fresh from there on site ovens, the loafs of raisin bread and other Chinese specialties are delicious. Priced decently, it is imperative that you give this place a try. more
