This office handles miscarriage VERY poorly. My doc (Weisert) was great, but the office staff and on-call doc (Brainard) were miserable. When I called with symptoms of miscarriage, Brainard was rude, cold and unsympathetic. The nurse greeted me at my next appointment (to confirm what'd happened) by saying - you must be so excited about the baby! And the office staff did not look at the chart either wanted to get me set up for my next ultrasound when I checked out! Then, to top it all off, they billed me for that follow up appointment (but not that day - presumably because they were too embarrassed to ask for co pay on what they later dubbed a ""non-pregnancy related visit"" and send me a delinquency notice in the mail instead! All this being said, I liked my doc well enough to deal with the staff in my subsequent, successful pregnancy. The staff are fine when everything goes as planned. So, I would just say be aware of their shortcomings if you have any reason to think you'll have a difficult pregnancy... more

I have been a patient at this office for a few years now, and I can honestly say that this time was different. From the moment I walked in and saw the friendly smiles at the front desk, to my experience in the room with the dr. I was impressed. I would recommend this to anyone and have to most of my friends and family. The wait is a little long, but worth it. Pros: Friendly office staff, awesome dr.'s Cons: wait time at least a half hour more

I can't say enough about the caring doctors and staff at Copperstate. Of course, this is an OBGYN office, and there are going to be busy days and crowded waiting rooms. But when it comes down to patient care, I'm don't think there is a better place to be in the city of Tucson. more

I think the doctor may be good, but to get to the doctor, you have to deal with the nurse from hell.\r \r From being billed incorrectly, and then when due a refund, they state they do not give refunds or credit forward.\r \r They will not see you if you owe. And if in an emergency, if you pay and then call back to get refund, they will deny you and say you should have talked to the business manager the day you came in.. IN AN EMERGENCY WITH PAIN..\r \r The doctors here are money grabbing monsters when it comes to protecting themselves. You are just a way to the money.\r \r Can't recommend them at all.\r \r STAY AWAY! more

I agree with the previous post, the receptionists at Copperstate are awful. I love my doctor, so I have continued to go, but the receptionists are rude, mean and do not explain things well. Also, they do not call to remind you of your appointment, which can be frustrating. more

As far as doctors are concerned Copperstate has a great nurse and doctor team, that is if you can stand to deal with the receptionist. Plan on having your appointments rescheduled frequently due to overbookings. Also plan on showing up and not receiving all tests or services expected because the receptionist forgot to book them. \r I went in with my husband for my 20 week sonogram excited beyond words to find out the gender of our baby. Only when I got there did I find out that the receptionist had forgot to book the sonogram room, and this is after having my appointment rescheduled and pushed back nearly 2 WEEKS! Now I'm being told I have to wait ANOTHER 2 weeks to go back and learn my baby's gender. Talk about ruining your day, I cried for hours because I was so angry and dissappointed and the receptionists didn't even care. I didn't even get an ""I'm sorry"". All I know is that as much as I love my doctor I won't be going back to Copperstate next time around. Pros: The doctors and nurses are friendly and always very upbeat. Cons: The receptionists are unattentive and horrible about overbooking and then rescheduling your appointments. more

I have had two babies under her care and would highly recommend her. Dr. Weisert always takes time to listen. Cons: Waiting room is always busy but is well worth the time. more

She provides exellent care and has sound scientific knowledge. She is the best doctor I've had and has the sweetest bedside manner. It's so nice to feel cared for as a patient. more
