i have been going, or should i say i was going to kay dermatology for over a decade.
these people blew a 10 year relationship with a client down the drain.
i always saw marilyn, the esthetician, for monthly cleanings, typically every 6 to 8 weeks. each of these is 105$ out of pocket since insurance doesnt cover it. its a rip off if u ask me becuase u could go to a SPA and get the same facial and massage for half the price.
ANYWAY, i went in in feb for what i thought would be a typical visit. IT WASNT. it just seemed like marilyn didnt give a damn about what she was doing. she did a treatment i had NEVER received in the entire decade i had been going. the pain is bearable i suppose but on this day, she was causing excruciating pain. when i mentioned the discomfort, rather than being empathetic, she told me to quit complaining. how unprofessional can you get? she had the nerve to ask, ""are you done yet? are you going to be quiet now so i can finish my job?"" absolutely horrendous!
then, she did TWO peels. im in my twenties!!!!!!!! ur not supposed to get chemical peels if your skin is that young, especially TWO of them! and then get this, she tells me im finished without even putting sunblock on me!!!!! THIS IS THE MOST ESSENTIAL PROTECTION YOU NEED AFTER DOING SUCH A TREATMENT, ESPECIALLY A CHEMICAL PEEL! she allowed me to go out into the sun like that and when i called her on it, she said, ""oh, did you want some?""
i walked out of the office and wrote a 2 page letter that very day to the office manager ARI (who isnt helpful at all) and he said if i dont pay for the treatment, i would be sent to collections. i wrote him back, uhhh did u not see the 2 page letter i wrote you stating how horrible my treatment was and how i was injured? he ignored that part and said ""services were rendered. if i were you, id pay before i hand this off to collections.""
WHAT A FKING JOKE THIS PLACE AND STAFF IS.
