First, they act as if every piece of junk they have is made of gold... $200 for a used dryer they got for free? I can buy a new one for that price.
Their furniture and appliances are overpriced, and most of the toys are broken or filthy and the clothing is not laundered before it is put out, so it all has a musty, mildewed smell to it.
I think it is wrong for a Christian based organization to charge such high prices for items that were donated to them, FOR FREE.
The staff is polite, but watch your every move when in the store if you are young, as if you plan on stealing something. I have also seen a young black man followed around the store for quite some time by two staff members, who would turn to each other and pretend to be talking when the young man would happen to look over his shoulder.
Most of the staff is quite helpful, but some seem to have no idea how to answer basic questions.
If it were a privately owned business I would give a 3 star rating for being overpriced but helpful, but because it is supposed to be a Christian run, not-for-profit business I am hesitant to give even one star...
