Amazing boarding establishment. Very professional and friendly staff. I boarded a Yorkie and a Pekingese. My Pekingese has a slight temper but fell in love with the staff. I am very pleased. more

The staff was very friendly and the kennel area was very clean. We had to leave town on short notice, due to a death in the family, and Kathy's Pampered Paws was the only kennel in town to answer the phone on a Friday after 5pm. We are very pleased with the service and will definitely use Kathy's Pampered Paws again. more

I love Kathy's and so do my dogs!!! They were very traumatized by some other kennels. Boarding them at Kathy's was completely the opposite and very refreshing---the dogs were clearly happy. I've left them there several times for grooming appointments as well, and they were always relaxed and happy (and well groomed) when I picked them up. I don't have show dogs who need more than basic grooming so I love that Kathy's has very reasonable rates and doesn't try to convince me that my dogs need more than the basics. Because I had concerns about Kathy's having adequate accommodations for boarding my HUGE Anatolian, I toured the whole facility and loved the layout and the cleanliness. I'm a clean freak and have seen some other Clarksville facilities with horrid kennel situations so Kathy's was a welcome change. And I know some people might not think the gravel play area is great, but I love it! The gravel eliminates all the cleanliness issues associated with mud/dirt & grass and ensu more

Very happy 7/21/2011

I boarded my dog this past week and picked her up on Sunday. I really liked the feel of the place and so did my dog. She usually trembles and I have to drag her into the vet, where we used to board her, but she ran right in to Kathy?s then ran around exploring. The girl handed me a leash, took all my information, asked all the right questions, cuddled my dog and I left. A couple of hours later, I got a call because the girl that was feeding her had a question. I had put some cans of food in her bag, in case she didn?t eat the dry, and hadn?t mentioned that when I left. I was pleasantly surprised by this. When I picked her up a week later, she was happy and bouncing around. She hadn?t finished all her food, she never does, but had eaten most of it. I know she had a good time because her bark was hoarse, she barks a lot when she is playing. That was almost a week ago and she is still a little hoarse but settled right back in to home like she was never gone. I would definitely rec more

If we could, we would rate this place with a zero. From some reviews, we expected Kathy's to be something more than it was. First off, you cannot tour the back. Second, the play space is too small for comfort. Third and most importantly, our dog came out of this place much lighter in weight, with a nonexistent appetite, with kennel cough, developed pesticides (which gave her uncontrollable diarrhea), and a urinary tract infection. She is now scared of everything, and stopped all normal behaviors than before. When we noticed the drastic change, we took her straight to the vet. When we arrived, the vet took her immediately, and asked us the name of the boarding place. When we told her "Kathy's Pampered Paws," the look on her face said it all. She advised us to NEVER go back there again. She said that many pets that visit the office are straight out of Kathy's Pampered Paws. We are not ones to post such a negative review, but from our experience and the advice from a veterinarian, we felt more

Best Place in Clarksville 8/10/2009

Only place in town that I would take my dog. I've been going there a long time and have NEVER had a problem. As for boarding, it IS the BEST place in Clarksville. If she's there, I am never concerned and she has always been perfectly groomed when I return. I highly recommend it to ALL. more

Thanksgiving 12/2/2008

I recently boarded my two large german shepherds at Kathy's over the holidays. I was very worried because they had never been away from home and they can be a bit hard to handle. I purchased them a run because of their size and the length of time they would be staying. I also wanted them to be bathed before I picked them up (its not a job I like to do). Now I have to mention, I really am a worry wart. I called everyday to check on my boys and the staff was very understanding even though I know they were busy. I really appreciated that which is why I decided to write this review. I highly recommend Kathy's Pampered Paws. Oh, and my purse wasn't empty when I left either. more

Open Sunday!! 9/2/2008

I love Kathy's boarding. I boarded this weekend, Labor day weekend, and I picked up my boys Sunday afternoon. Not only were they happy and clean - the best part was - that Kathy's is open on Sunday. Every other place I have ever left my boys were not only closed on Sunday, but, on Labor day too, so my poor guys were held hostage for 2 whole days. Kathy's was even open Labor day in case I was running late. more

I just moved here from Maryland and had to board my 12 year old, poodle mix, Shelby, for a long weekend. I had a really great facility in MD that she was used to, so I was really nervous. She never eats the first day (sometimes two) when I leave her, it just takes her a little while to settle in at a new place. You wouldnt believe the places that just pretend she was "Great" and when I ask for her leftover food tell me she ate it all. I was so impressed with the people at Kathys - they not only callled me on day two to let me know she had only nibbled at her food, but they also returned her unused food to me so I knew exactly how much she had eaten. An honest, friendly place that is even open for Sunday pick up. more

Great, great, great! 6/7/2008

I have 2 large Shepherds which I board together at Kathy's in their indoor/outdoor runs. They get to go in and out all day and the runs are huge inside and out. I have them bathed before I pick them up and they brush out all that fluff that loves to float around my house. Super people, super place!! more

My Cats Love this place!! 6/7/2008

I have 3 cats and travel at least once every 3 months for business. I have checked out several places in town but all they had were small cages for cats. My 3 kitties like staying together, but the two males don't like sharing a litter box. The small cages made my cats miserable which, in turn, made it hard for me to concentrate on my work at hand as I was so worried about them. We are soooooo happy that we found Kathy's! Her regular kitty rooms are huge and her kitty suite (were my babies stay) is actually a real room - at least 10 feet by something! Plenty of room for a second litter box and 3 beds, there is a window for them to look out of for entertainment, and there is a huge carpeted kitty playhouse with scratch posts too. Oh, and I don?t have to wait until Monday to pick them up, because their open on Sundays! I would recommend this place to anyone who cherishes their animals as much as I do. more

Best Grooming & Boarding in Town!! 6/7/2008

This is, without a doubt, the best place to take your pets! I have been coming here for about 6 months now, after having a bad experience somewhere else, and must admit it has become a home away from home for my babies. I travel A LOT, and want to know that they are save and I'm not spending an arm and a leg too. I have them groomed before I pick them up and they come home looking like dolls everytime at a very reasonable price! I couldn't be more happy with the grooming, boarding, and staff that takes care of them for me. Bring Your Pets Here, You Won't Regret It!! more
