New to the area and decided to check out Kathi's for some storage solutions. I was impressed. Walked in and found exactly what I was looking for, reasonably priced. The place was packed, lots of people bring stuff in while I was there. They seemed to have a pretty good mix of stuff. Definitely will be going back without my kids to get a closer look. The cashier was friendly and pleasant. Great service! more

The person below sounds like she works there. I wouldnt recommend Kathis. Great stuff, terrible people running it. Ive known people that have gone there for years from sheer lack of any other consignment place that stays open for long, and they continuously say they wish they didnt have kathis as an only option because they dont like dealing with the girls working there. If it wasnt for the business being established by their mom for so long, I dont think theyd still be doing business today. Not with the way the daughter run it. Ive gone in there quite a few times over the years and yes, Ive seen it too. more

The shop is great! Every week, a TON of new stuff is brought in and fairly priced by the girls. If you take the opportunity to get to know them you will see that everyone there is very friendly and they just want to have a good time while working. They take gently used clothes, no stains or holes if they can find them - they are human. Think about it, if you don't want to buy an item with stains then don't bring it in. They take items Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10-4 and they will be happy to go over the items with you if you have a question. They have clothes and shoes for women, men and children; hats, scarves, books, movies, toys, decor, utility items, dishes, bed sets, purses, jewelry, frames, and art. Just go to Sattler and check it out for yourself! more

I only give this place one star because ""0"" stars isnt available. Yes, this place has great stuff. But the two sisters that run it are horrid, rude snobs that shouldnt be in a position where they have to interact with people on an every day basis. When Kathy ran the business, things were much nicer and friendlier. Ever since her two daughter's have taken it over, it's turned into a shop that many local people avoid just so they dont have to deal with the rudeness. You would think that owning a business would smarten them up at least on a social level - it hasn't. One sister looks like cracking a smile would split her face in two. The other just doesn't have a decent thing to say. Based on my own personal experience and the experiences I've heard from others, I would recommend staying away from this place and going to one of the other many local shops around. There are much better people to do business with here. more

Everyone at Canyon Lake has a secret. Its Kathys resale. All the rich people drop off their stuff. Its a fantastic inventory at great prices. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Kathys has allowed me to buy things I would have never been able to afford. Thanks Kathy! There is a reason this place is swamped with local residents. Its not your normal resale shop! more
